- EXPLOSIVE head-cam footage shows Ukrainian sniper taking out Russian patrol with deadly precision.
In this heart-racing footage, a Ukrainian special ops sniper can be seen crouching behind trees before unloading deadly shots, wiping out a patrol of Russian soldiers.
Some of the soldier were injured and arrested while others fell victim to the fatal attack.
This footage has not yet been verified and the location is currently unconfirmed.

This was a totally normal ambush done by either regular soldiers or special forces.
Just because you see the man has a sort of scope, it doesn't mean he is a sniper.
A sniper would not use this weapon in a sniper role at all.
I am just waiting for the next "sniper" video where we will see him "snipe" a Russian tank with a Javelin or a NLAW.

Few points to make.
#1: That’s AR. Not a sniper rifle
#2: He’s got a EOtech holographic red dot sight with a magnifier on it. That ain’t your typical sniper rifle setup
#3: where’s the camera adapter that allows him to actually record his shots?
#4: the footage of the recorded shots looks like it’s a thermal imaging device that’s recording them

Technically it may very well be a "Sniper" since it's how they are trained and used that "define" a "sniper" rather than what weapon system they use... 😉
In actual fact a "sniper rifle" could be any rifle a sniper is using. Although in this scenario if it actually is a sniper then he probably have a long range rifle in a pack somewhere. 😁
They use sniper long range riffles and are in a hidden position so very much doubt it he's a sniper.They pick off individual soldiers.
Paleto ....It is NOT a sniper rifle - nor is it a trained sniper infantryman. A sniper rifle has a larger caliber bullet for range/velocity - They will also typically use a bolt rifle for accuracy (some exceptions such as the Springfield SCOM 308 or the Russian SVD)...The rifle will also have a longer barrel to increase velocity and accuracy. Another indicator that it is NOT a sniper rifle is that he has a optic that is made for close quarters and a relatively 3x magnifier. Lastly the rifle looks to be an AR platform - Nato rounds - not a 308 AR10. Soooo....NO NO NO - it is not a sniper rifle. More importantly, the shooter does not use sniper techniques - open position, no concealment or cover, and forward movement. That is a classic ambush with a NATO rounds.

True, but a real sniper would still use his sniper rifle in this ambush unless his sniper rifle was a heavy .50 Cal.
I very much doubt that a sniper using a .50Cal would be anywhere near this group of soldiers doing an ambush like this.
I doubt a sniper using the .338 Lapua Magnum would as well.
Maybe a sniper using a 7.62x51(.308 Win) or similar as his/her sniper rifle, would take part in an ambush like this.
If he/she is, then he/she would not have the position this soldier has in this video.
He/she would be on one of the flanks in this group.
So, everything screams that this soldier is not even close to be a sniper, and he has most likely never had any form of sniper training either.
Know the difference between a Marksman and Sniper, a Sniper is very well defined.

Just because he's using an m4 platform rifle in this particular mission doesn't mean that he isn't sniper qualified.
a scope on a rifle doesn't make him a sniper - judging from the count of shots, he isn't even a marksman, just an infantryman with a rifle and a scope on top.

That's not a sniper. That's not even a scope. That's an Eotech optic with a small magnifier behind it, on a standard AR15 platform. It's just a standard infantry rifle.
