+dweep shah If you are Army, I recommend Puyallup and Spanaway area.. that way you can just drive through the East Gate of Lewis, (don't bother with the traffic on 512). Also thought I'd share with you a great place to get fresh groceries (fruit & veggies) cheap.. 9813 Pacific Ave., Tacoma, there's a yellow building (Liquidators, I think they are called). I can usually get $100 worth of fruit and vegetables for $50 there.
+WontB Quiet thanks for the reply,,, what are the good areas to buy the houses around here, I got temp lodging at lakewood as its really next to my unit,, but I am now I am interested in buying a house,, what are the areas I should focus
Depends on what you want and how you are buying.. are you wanting not to pay too much or are you wanting a nice place in a nice area.. or are you want an easy drive to McChord/Lewis.. Steilacoom is nice, also Puyallup or Spanaway is decent... some areas in Lakewood have nice houses or nice neighborhoods.. There is an apartment complex in Steilacoom that I think is nice. Do not get a place in Tacoma, especially a place called Westridge Apartments. I used to have an apartment there and there was crime at the time and often police and sirens (don't know about now), and the apartment management aren't always that nice or helpful. dweep shah
