    This is the first Cayanne GTS tutorial, that explains what it's a bypass,,,,, i was about to spend $2k in a new EXHAUST SYSTEM, thanks 🙏

      No problem! My car is a turbo. You will get more noticeable results on a naturally aspirated model.

    I’d say that’s an improvement and it won’t upset the neighbors.

    I really appreciate your videos. They have helped me with the decision of wanting a 957 GTS or Turbo S. I just can't make up my mind as to which one.

      @CarFanatic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Drive them both and see which one you like. I like the GTS appearance, seats and sports exhaust but the power in the Turbo, bigger brakes and standard full leather interior are nice. The best of both worlds would be a Turbo S, but maintenance will be more expensive (brakes, PDCC system).

    I had the same done to my 2006 turbo and also removed my secondary cat's. It has a little deeper sound

    I'm in Vegas where we have emissions requirements. Will it still pass an emissions test or will the 'freer' flowing exhaust trigger a leak warning?

    Best tutorial. Now i don't need to bypass through the muffler insertion like what other ppl did.

      I'm in the progress of the flex pipe bypass on my 955 TTS. Done one side, and the improvement is much more significant than this Gundo. Sounds like the 957 stock exhaust is louder to begin with, as compared to my stock 955

    • @CarFanatic
      @CarFanatic  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would have done the flex pipe mod but it unfortunately doesn't work on the 957 because the muffler internals are different.

      Greetings,
      What size of pipes did you use? I am thinking of installing electric servos (BMW style) which could be opened/closed indefinitely via switch.

    sounds great, thanks for your awesome videos.
    may I know what kind of workshop would do such job? should I take it to exhaust specialist (but I doubt that they will do it for $100 😀)

      @a.common.American ปีที่แล้ว

      Any muffler shop that has good reviews on yelp will be able to do this. Even in Socal, it's still 'legal' to a muffler shop as you're not modifying the cats or muffler itself. It is however, illegal to modify an exhaust in such a manner to alter the decibel level (socal) but, it's extremely unlikely that will ever become an issue.

    Sounds nice. I have a 958.2 GTS (V6 turbo). Two questions:
    1. Would this pass CA smog?
    2. Will it play nice with the oem exhaust on/off flaps?
