How to Draw a Realistic Bull Terrier | English Bull Terrier Coloured Pencil Tutorial Part 3

Join me for part 3 of this tutorial series where I talk you through the exact steps I use to draw a realistic Tri-Coloured English Bull Terrier in coloured pencils. I'll share with you all of my tips & techniques, along with my thought process as I draw.

Hello Thank you for your great tutorials. I’m kinda new to colored pencils. I just recently bought a new set of colored pencils. I have a bad eye when it comes to color. Could you share how you pick your base layer?

Just remember there's no 'one' right colour, it's just a case of looking for the general tone and keep layering colours until you get the perfect shade. Basically lots of trial and error!

I've been telling family I want an English Bull Terrier. So Paddy's influence is spreading worldwide. I'm sorry ti hear he is in pain. Does he wag his tail before getting into crying episodes? It likely indicates he needs a dopamine fix (love) from the owner. Give Paddy a hug and play until his tail stops wagging, perhaps.

I love that you want an English Bull Terrier now! They're brilliant, such characters and will make you laugh on a daily basis. Sometimes he definitely cries for attention but other times it's for less obvious reasons. I think he was left alone a lot in his previous home so it probably comes from past experience, he is getting better with the crying now though thankfully - thank you so much 🥺

We have a red white and smout EBT. He's fantastic. They all have the same type of character. Our white one previously was exactly the same. Just stumbled upon your channel so going to have a go at drawing him. My polychromos haven't been out for a while
