May I use this animation, please, as a background for a short children's song about our role as "wheels" interacting with each other? I will give full credits for its origin. Thank you.
Hello, Most of my models are from other people's designs - the "work" and animation is mine but the real credit belongs with others. I get the enjoyment. Please feel free to use it and enjoy as you wish. (This one was from zombiecat as in my credits),
{smileyFace} Thank you for your comment. It brings to mind the bar in the "Blues Brothers" which played all kinds of music - Country AND Western. :-) If you peruse my sites.google.com/view/lifeinfontenais40/home websites you will find that my humour is nearly as good as my taste in music. ;-)
Hello, The music is : Icelandic Folk Music - Á Sprengisandi I can't remember where I found it but I just did a search and it seems that it is used many times on TH-cam and is well known to Icelanders from school days.
Hello, As mentioned in the comment above, my model is based on Zombiecat at www.thingiverse.com/thing:31439 There are also my notes at sites.google.com/site/lifeinfontenaisescapements/galileo-escapement There are other examples on the web but no specifications :-( Good luck.
Hello, Sorry. I did not see this question until now. My notes at sites.google.com/site/lifeinfontenaisescapements/galileo-escapement give an analysis of what will get the minute-hand wheel to turn once a minute. The rest to the hour wheel etc should be standard. I think they are OK but you should check :-( Good luck.
Any device powered by Gravity has a constant force that's stable and consistent. Carry on.

How hard would it be to make a clock out of this? What gear ratios would be required for an hour and minute hand?
