this kid is definitely more advanced than all of his opponents in this video...its poor judgement on coaching staff to even slip him into these "rookie" duels..everything the kids does is completely legal and he is a beast!
I think he is great and tallented he is, keep up the good work and keep on practising your moves because you can only get better practice makes perfect.........
Noah is 10 now. Everytime we have planned on doing anything national bad luck has stepped in. Last year he broke his finger n just a few months ago he had heart surgery. It was something he was born with. Hes doing good though. Last year he wrestled around 79 pounds. Hes about a 100 pounds now as he cant be to active cuz hes still healing. He was actually cleared for sports a few weeks ago but is still tender in his chest. Theres no rush. Hes enjoying sitting at home playing video games.
Stevo is awesome! He has a bright future ahead of him. I think he only does wrestling all year long and maybe soccer. Noah does 8 sports and only does wrestling 3 months out of the year. Noah does wrestling, judo, jiu jitsu, baseball, football, gymnastics, boxing, track. You can see his other sports in his videos.
He has some serious skills. He is developing some excellent technique. Talent/hard work doesn't need to be hyped. It shines through. Enjoyed the song by Skillet.
That's a serious cross-face! Kid is real physical for his age. Wrestling knowledge and awareness is impressive. You can tell he puts alot of work into it.
Thats why if you wrestle you watch your opponents previous matches, he goes for legs every time, so when he ducks for your legs, sidestep and push the back of his head, he's down already, then you can get on top of him.
sorry to hear about the heart condition. my daughter has bad year round allergies, has been diagnosed with exercise enduced asthma, and will not speak to adults because of a mental issue called selective mutism, so I understand watching your child bravely train everyday while fighting thru issues. God bless him.
Great technique for a little kid. He is for sure a good wrestler. He is a phenomenon for that age of course when he gets older the matches will get tougher. Keep up the good work you are great
I think phenom is probably not the best label, in that, it's generally used to reference someone with an incredible amount of God given talent. I would say his skill set is more a result of years of hard work, dedication, and good coaching. He definitely deserves praise for putting in the work though, the results speak for themselves.
How do you know he wasnt gifted with wrestling talent? What about this makes you think it was the hard work? Even though its hard work for everyone i dont get why you think this kid isnt naturally talented.
Because I know from things his father has written about him in comments and on the internet that he has spent a significant portion of his young life in the wrestling room, working hard. Not only that, but if you've been around wrestling your whole life, you learn to recognize the kind of talent that can't be taught and I don't see much of that in this kid. My opinion of course.
Thanks..ya we know competition will get tougher. It already is. This is 3 years old. Hes doing this well with minimal training. Were gonna be open in the next week or 2 with our own MMA school so he will be getting alot more training.
@othpromo He deserves to get praise. He's really good. He has a really powerful double leg. Just a suggestion, he should reach a bit less with his single (it was really noticeable at like 2:53). Really good work though, keep at it!
@moorespeedr Noah hovers around 68 pounds but has gone as low as 64 recently. Rite now hes about 71 since doing indoor football. Hes not doing the brutal workouts that he did in wrestling. Thanks for the comment !
Great job! I like how you listed the various states on this video. It stops people from commenting, "Bring him to ______ and see how he does against our wrestlers." Nice job on the mat. What weight class...79 or 88? There is a stud 88 that I got to watch in a tournament (in Georgia) recently, that blew me away. Your son has a similar wrestling style. Again, nice job!
@TeamAllsup Yes he is. Actually hes still got maybe 3 to 4 weeks left in the regular season. I was just itching to upload this video. Plus I want to clean up my desktop and get rid of all these vids. He also just started Indoor Arena Football. So hell be doing that for next 3 to 4 months and offseason wrestling tournaments when we can.
Better then Stevo..... better mechanics..... just all around amazing..... he knows what to do and when to do it..... isnt fancy with his moves just gets it done. BE proud of the kid. He has something special. Dont burn him out. Wish i was that good. Never was never will be.
His cross face cradle is sick. He smacks it in with good force. If I were him and no one could stop my single and double leg takedowns I too would continue to use it. He win a few with front three quarters. The hip toss s good also. Definitely not one dimensional.
Its obvious this kid is good and far advanced then everyone he wrestles. When he gets older and other kids get better and mature he will not roll over them as easily. Hopefully he does not get burn out from parents toting him around the country!!
I love how vicious he is with his cross face, and his double leg is perfect. I would love to see him and stevo wrestle. Does he do any boxing or kick boxing yet?
Hes trained not to tie up. His team teaches him to always look for the shot. If he does tie up, he also does Judo which at this point in time most wrestlers have no answer for. Thaks for the comment.
Hey, i may not know as much but i love young athletes. He is one of my favorites and i know many. He works hard, has style and is a fun loving kid. You guys who are insulting him, REALLY! Unless your kid can beat him, you all should have nice comments or SHUT UP! He is amazing :-D
Awesome video, cant wait to my show 9 yr old. He likes this cradle move but a coach told him to stay under his opponents arms. Working from over the shoulder is natural, just hasnt been working. Its his 2nd year and I'm not sure we want to abandon this move just yet. any advice?
He's 8! Kid was taught, probably by dad, some basics and then taught aggression. He is far more aggressive and some of those opponents look like they're in their first match. His cross face is his best "move". Two bloody noses and two sets of tears! He is tough and aggressive which are two of the hardest things to teach an 8year old and the greatest things a wrestler needs to win. He is still 8 years old! Let's hold off on labeling him anything. Let him enjoy winning and keep learning. Drive a mule too hard and they just end up quitting.............Just like kids!
Noah Alsguson well, he is progressing then and both of those will help with his wrestling. A lot! There are lots of "kids" who are extremely talented and driven at this age so I hope he continues to enjoy one of if not the most, all around, demanding sports. Hope he commits to University of Iowa!! lol
+Noah Alsguson Not to sound rude or anything but it sounds a lot like his parents pressured him into doing stuff like that probably because they never had the chance to do it or were never good at those things as kids, gj either way
+Noah Alsguson My bad, in my head it sounded much better, how's this? It seems like he was pressured. Now I'm sure he enjoys this now and don't get me wrong I love wrestling and for the past few years I've been learning Krav Maga but at 8 years and what I'm assuming is younger in Noah's case I don't think a kid would aspire to be a world champ in Jiu Jitsu or state wrestling champ, etc
This kid has crazy sweep singles but it's illegal to wind up on the cross faces. I'm 12 and I know from experience that this kid is wrestling fishes (terrible first year wrestlers) the whole video. Although he is super fast and keeps it all in one motion never giving his opponent time to catch his/her breath. Great for an 8 yr old!
I know he has cuz he went. Noah hasnt cuz he hasnt went...but he trains with many kids from The Harvey Twisters who have won Tulsa and other national tournaments many years in a row.
@ramrod20042000 Thanks ! It only took him 4 years to finally start shooting LOL but he does it pretty good now. Het gets his hip throws from the Judo he knows.
He will probably either be a four time state champion or quit by the age of 12 lol just make shure he never EVER believes he cant be beat. Teach him that he ALWAYS has to work and keep working. Because no matter how good you are you have a long way to go
@Robdabob878 Ya he actually just starting shooting within the last year..he use 2 only do hip throws until that stopped working against good competition. Ya if u watch the video its pretty much in order..so youll notice his shots get better as the season goes on. Thanks 4 the advice though !
@bagbalmpompom Its called a blast double and he gets it 90% of the time but again this video is a year old. Hes better again. When this season is done Ill make another video.
+Noah Alsguson Yes I have. I coached over 25 State Champions in 15 years. I know what I am talking about. I am not badmouthing that kid. He looks to be well coached, good position and a good penetration step. He was NOT phenomenal....maybe you need to look up the word phenomenal.
I know what it means. Im just messing with ya. ;) Its called marketing and it got you to look at it. Because of my son who is about to be 14 years old and a little marketing I now own a martial arts school with over 700 members. Thats phenomenal! ;)
well not sure what your weight class is but his older brother wrestled 103 for three years and his senior year went 112. but the first 2 years he gave up anywhere from 20-25 lbs before walking on the mat. I am sure u r very good and we wish u a great season. Jr wrestled Myway and this is his first year wrestling for school bcse u have to be 7th grade to start any sports.
+jmlakos Im currently 140 pounds. I train all the time now. My dad owns an MMA school so we focus a lot on martial arts. The last few years my dad has been bumping me up with older heavier kids too. This video is old and I didnt know anything like I do know.
@jdcruz11 Ya Noah has only been on the Twisters for 2 years. He was on another team for 2 years b4 that and had 2 break bad habits. Noah has alot more moves I made this video cuz it took him 4 years 2 finally start shooting. If you been around a long time in wrestling then youll know that Poulins viral video shows him coming in to high and reaching back and putting some1 in a leg cradle who isnt fighting back. Hip throws wont work on good wrestlers.
@mitchile7 Noah also knows Judo n Jiu Jitsu which he applies 2 Wrestling. I made this video because it took him 4 yrs 2 finally start shooting. If the older kids he wrestled look terrible its cuz Noah makes it look that easy. Noah is 8 wrestlin 9 n 10 yr olds. Noah is very aggressive and constantly attacks. Noah knows all the same stuff Stevo knows. Noah doesnt back up and waits 4 duck unders or runs in 2 high or reach back. Wen 2 good wrestlers meet it always cums down 2 takedowns
1) I would never call any kid trying his hardets to wrestle any name and 2) We dont control who shows up to a tournament. Theres over a 100 videos on here of MMA incuding wrestling, choose one.
@gonefishing4pigs Thanks I put alot of work in2 this video. He has alot more highlites but I can only fit so many on here. He trains his but off and at 8 yrs old its starting click for him.
For someone that young he's got a lot of potential.. he's gotta learn better takedowns or at least do them better because once he's older that shit won't work
Zero disrespect intended, but phenom I don't see. Good little wrestler though. Good luck in the future. I only hope he finds better, more competitive matches.
@othpromo Sounds like your son is on the same program as mine. The State tournament was this weekend and he couldn't wrestle because of an injury. There's a few more events left and I hope he gets better an can wrestle. Arena Football Starts in a few weeks then try to make two wrestling tournaments (Folkstyle) a month and a few Freestyle/Greco tournaments
This kid has a lot of tools. Look at his length. Sky is the limit for you young man..........if your willing to pay the price in blood sweat, and tears!
@williac5 LOL Noah has been sprawled on many times. Hes pretty good with the setup 2 the face though. It took him 4 years to finally start shooting. So I made this video of him mostly doing Blast Double and Sweep Singles.
this kid is definitely more advanced than all of his opponents in this video...its poor judgement on coaching staff to even slip him into these "rookie" duels..everything the kids does is completely legal and he is a beast!
Nasty cross face, I love it. he has a lot of good skills and great intensity, good job kid
I think he is great and tallented he is, keep up the good work and keep on practising your moves because you can only get better practice makes perfect.........

Gare Stinky you clearly do not know wrestling well
sorry to hear about the heart condition. my daughter has bad year round allergies, has been diagnosed with exercise enduced asthma, and will not speak to adults because of a mental issue called selective mutism, so I understand watching your child bravely train everyday while fighting thru issues. God bless him.
That little dude's gonna kick ass when he's in middle school
Teach these kids to sprawl lol
Thank You lol
Great technique for a little kid. He is for sure a good wrestler. He is a phenomenon for that age of course when he gets older the matches will get tougher. Keep up the good work you are great
Awesome Video...Kids a little bad ass!! Would like to see him and Stevo wrestle...Keep up the great work!!
What a little stud!!! I hope he fulfills his bright future in the sport.
This video gave me the chills. Amazing kid... keep it up!
you're alright, stevo is 10x better. no need to prove it. keep up the good work, and you'll go somewhere with this sport.
Like the video. Keep him going with this. Future collegiate wrestlers we are raising I hope. :)
His shot is awesome. Hes miles above the competition.
Am I the only one wishing to have started this young?!? It would be so over!! I was always roughing it through life. Wrestling was natural for me 😔😡
I think phenom is probably not the best label, in that, it's generally used to reference someone with an incredible amount of God given talent. I would say his skill set is more a result of years of hard work, dedication, and good coaching. He definitely deserves praise for putting in the work though, the results speak for themselves.

He is good for he age and will get better
Anybody looks good when there is no competition. jeez
This is true.
We love the Twisters 1 of the best programs in the country. Thanks 4 the comment !
How did you get the Muhammad Ali and Rocky mix in the beginning?... my son wants it on his Ipod for wrestling
wow that sweep single was SO clean, plus he distractedthe kid before shooting, perfect performance
@othpromo He deserves to get praise. He's really good. He has a really powerful double leg. Just a suggestion, he should reach a bit less with his single (it was really noticeable at like 2:53). Really good work though, keep at it!

This kid is a beast now! Good Job Dad, you have his college scholarship locked up!
Quick question how do kids jump up and down weight classes do they actually lose/gain weight or do the parents just lie about the weight?
Its obvious this kid is good and far advanced then everyone he wrestles. When he gets older and other kids get better and mature he will not roll over them as easily. Hopefully he does not get burn out from parents toting him around the country!!
I love the inspirational intro!
Hypest intro of all time
@HigherPrimates Thanks alot. He trains very hard for an 8 year old.

Stevo is a dominater he most likely pins every wrestler we wrestles
Calling a little kid you never met a punk. Real nice !
If I remember correctly Noah was around 65 pounds at 8 yrs old. Noah is now 11 yrs old and weighs 100 pounds.
This kid has crazy sweep singles but it's illegal to wind up on the cross faces. I'm 12 and I know from experience that this kid is wrestling fishes (terrible first year wrestlers) the whole video. @kanabul2k Thanks your kid looks really good ! How old is he ?
that's cool... I used to wrestle you guys back when Cassio Pero was around.. I was in the knights wc
Lot of hate in the comments. I'm sure he's improving every day. Good luck kid
Thanks. He's 17 years old now.
Not a phenom. He looks like an experienced wrestler at a beginner tournament. I've seen lots and lots of elementary wrestlers better than that.
+Ken Hetherington No you haven't. This video is 7 years old. He just won state a few weeks ago.
+Noah Alsguson
Yes I have. I coached over 25 State Champions in 15 years. I know what I am talking about. I am not badmouthing that kid. He looks to be well coached, good position and a good penetration step. He was NOT phenomenal....maybe you need to look up the word phenomenal.

@@othpromo congrats! What state did he win in?
Cool video

@TeamAllsup Ill also be doing an offseason highlite video too.
@jdcruz11 Ya Noah has only been on the Twisters for 2 years. He was on another team for 2 years b4 that and had 2 break bad habits. Noah has alot more moves I made this video cuz it took him 4 years 2 finally start shooting. If you been around a long time in wrestling then youll know that Poulins viral video shows him coming in to high and reaching back and putting some1 in a leg cradle who isnt fighting back. whats the first song?i liked the inspirational rocky speech btw lol
@mitchile7 Noah also knows Judo n Jiu Jitsu which he applies 2 Wrestling. I made this video because it took him 4 yrs 2 finally start shooting. @BurtonBeanie Thanks !
Ok I’m just saying did you put this song on to be cocky or to be a show off
Btw Jordan Burroughs Olympic Gold medalist/World champion in freestyle's best shot is the shoot with his head to the belly.
@gonefishing4pigs Thanks I put alot of work in2 this video. He has alot more highlites but I can only fit so many on here. He trains his but off and at 8 yrs old its starting click for him.
Thanks..check out his newer video from last year.
what is the first song
For someone that young he's got a lot of potential.. he's gotta learn better takedowns or at least do them better because once he's older that shit won't work
Hes 14 now. I think hes 7 or 8 in this video. Thats him in the profile pic.
Noah Alsguson do more videos
i watched this five times observing that sweep single
Zero disrespect intended, but phenom I don't see. Good little wrestler though. Good luck in the future. I only hope he finds better, more competitive matches.
@othpromo Sounds like your son is on the same program as mine. The State tournament was this weekend and he couldn't wrestle because of an injury. There's a few more events left and I hope he gets better an can wrestle. Arena Football Starts in a few weeks then try to make two wrestling tournaments (Folkstyle) a month and a few Freestyle/Greco tournaments

Hey, whats the intro of the people talking?
Like where can i find that and download it?
@AlexGriffin8808 Thanks alot !
Bravo 👏
@iphonefreak22 Do u mean cut the corner ? Like coming around 4 the legs after a shot cuz if so he does do that.
he was a 7 year old national champion
@williac5 LOL Noah has been sprawled on many times. Hes pretty good with the setup 2 the face though. It took him 4 years to finally start shooting. So I made this video of him mostly doing Blast Double and Sweep Singles.
