Yes, actually I think the skillset to optimize M0 Haru is very similar to fighting games (e.g. adjusting combos for more corner carry/meter gen/side swap is the same as adjusting Haru combos depending on resource/anomaly levels)
you are definitely selling qingyi to me. I managed M1W1 haru for myself but I am worried if I cannot do the rotation properly to maximize the dps. I was thinking to better wait for a future electric stunner who can increase the stun + give more dps to the attacker, but maybe I just get qingyi now and replace her when her upgrade comes. On a side note, would you be interested in showing the optimal combo with M1 if you had account access?
I would need lab things and limit test for awhile with M1 to truly understand how to optimize it. I'd suggest watching R2's clears if you haven't already, also Lin-0 has M1 now so he'll probably upload something in the near future. 3/5 stuns are from the impair mechanic, using 4p shockstar would only slightly speed up 2 stuns (few seconds timesave at best). Other options are Proto for damage buff (bad uptime on stun), Astral Voice (bad with manual chain), or just increase Qingyi's DPS with a build like mine.
Auto chain is fine honestly, I think it fits the current DA buffs (both Ult + Chain buff) and current disk sets in the game much better. Auto chain combos open up astral set on Qingyi, and your rotations are more condensed so you can benefit fully from Thunder Metal/Hormone buffs. Also, you always have the option to use Bangboo chain to apply anomaly so Thunder Metal is much nicer to use. There's a CN Haru player who achieved 60k with all auto chain combos using Chain buff (M0R1 Haru, M1 Qingyi, same engines as me), my score is slightly higher but the effort required is probably 10x. Anyway just dm me if you have questions about Haru and I'll help you out
@SirMitsuruji5 This fight is very scripted, as long as you can parry the boss and get 4+ stun windows you shouldn't have issues scoring 20k+ even with no Qingyi. Don't worry too much about optimizing Haru's combos, just focus on the parries and stunning the boss multiple times during the 3 minutes.

I think the combat design in this game is genius, you can mash and play as braindead as you want and still enjoy the game, but the ceiling for optimization is enormous.
Nicole with Lucy w engine is better than Rina since the timing is about matching Harumasa's quivers. If you use Rina with Harumasa, you basically timing with her dolls duration outfield instead which is very slow flying towards the boss unless you are beside it but then it would cause Harumasa to do dodge attack instead of dodge slash. Unlike Nicole black hole which is instant hit at boss no matter where you are . Rina is suited better with Yanagi since Yanagi always stand beside the enemy, just go infront and back of the enemy for her attack. And Rina is evasive assist, so she doesn't work for this boss

They have interesting way to manage Nicole buff with basic -> dash attack to trigger chain. The astral set trick is actually real neat and looks easy to pull off. I learned some new tricks thanks! Im gonna try em
Thunder Metal is pretty good here, you can parry with Haru freely and depending on how you play the run it's possible to shock on every stun. I think all 3 disks sets are fine here on Haru if you play around them

Yes, all allies count as well as Bangboos and even Rina dolls (1 Rina EX gives 3 stacks)
