Wow jeez what an insanely satisfying rigged run as Tainted Isaac, Polyphemus, Brimstone, Cricket's Head, Ipecac, Infestation 2, Magic Mushroom, Cricket's Body, Almond Milk, Glitched Crown, Inner Eye, Host Hat, Parasite. Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was great, Afterbirth was cool Afterbirth+ was like, eh, it's okay, and then Repentance came and was like BAM this is the best DLC EVER. The best mods like Q4 Isaac dance and banger songs like Innocence Glitched and Machine in the walls (my personal favorite) BIG C Section Brimstone Tech X fetuses' with ghost pepper synergies have so much potential. Add Soy Milk and Rock Bottom for a free win. Those items would be so OP together. The greatest synergy of all time. First floor is Ultra Hard, boss rush can be hard to get to. Good thing mom's knife didn't show up because that wouldn't have been fun. Even though I would of liked that item. I also like, Death Certificate, Damocles, Crickets Head, Rock bottom, Magic Mushroom and Godhead. Psy Fly, Revelation, Twisted Pair, D6 or Spindown Dice would be a cool synergy to have. Edmund Mcmillen created Super Meat Boy and I think he is a angel room enjoyer. Though Devil rooms can be Isaac Pog too, sometimes its a missed rare opportunity 0.1%. Sometimes when I get C section or Glitched Crown I laugh at my free win. Polyphemus Crickets Body Proptosis soy milk Sacred Heart + Holy Light and +10 Luck from perfection is my favorite combo. Need me some Lavencas Luck. When I get dead eye incubus R key Red key mega mush spirit sword and brimstone with ipecac it feels like a won run especially with monstros lung and tech X. I love playing the lost and tainted lost, and rerolling is always fun. I also love planetarium items. The Binding of Isaac Repentance is a pretty hard game but I enjoy it, I remember How to unlock the Lost, and it sucks because its RNG. Fighting Hush Delirium Mega Satan The Beast and Mother are all fun. I love synergies and bad items. This is 1,000,000% swear on dead gods name that this description isn't only for keywords. spinright dice would change to the next item from a different pool, and spinleft would do this but backward

My theory on why it spun up twice when holding tab is the found soul. It might think found soul is also using the active item. I don’t think it does that with normal actives but the modder might have missed something idk.

Found soul actually does use some normal actives like keepers box and book of sins, but i belive kilburn specifically removed that property in cases it would actually just be bad like spindown dice.
But, as you stated, the modder most likely forgot about this while modding the mod, and hence we get an extremly confused mattman

The reason there isn’t a spin-up die in Isaac is because there isn’t a spin/up die irl, at least not commonly. A spin-down die is a die that, instead of being rolled, you just set it at a number and tick it down to keep track of something (like life points).
my gf showed me mtg a couple weeks ago and we used those dies! never made the connection to isaac it all makes sense now
also probably the reason the sprite is a fucked up and evil d20 because that's what a spin down die is
1:07 I think that they didnt made a +1 counterpart for spindown dice because of breakfasting scenario. Breakfast has an id of 25 so having infinite rerolls could grant you pretty much 90% of items in whole game indifinetly(especially on greed mode). You could just roll r key or even death certificate ( to get items lower than breakfast ) and start cycle again!(and make another r key etc. Etc.)
4:40 If you wouldnt be dark judas then you could roll the humbling bundle and possibly with enough red hearts get death certificate AND a broken synergy taking in account that you also got bone heart in mirror dimension after the boss getting more health to rig
6:58 tech zero rays deal exactly 30% of your damage stat so now with choco milk you can essentially just start spam-tapping in a soy milk fashion and get rudiciulous damage. With piercing you can probably oblitirate anything in your path
17:27 on wiki it is stated that "In addition to copying/doubling many passive items, Found Soul can utilize the same active item as Isaac, effectively doubling them." So found soul works essentially as esau but while to use an active item on esau to not use another one that is holding jacob simoltounesly you must hold CTRL and lost soul does not have this "protection" and its own item in the first place so it uses just isaacs item (as stated above), as you showcased later

what if there was a mod that made spindown die possible to get as a devil room item (still obtainable in other ways) and spinup die possible to get as an angel room item? (again, still obtainable in other ways) i think that’d be pretty cool since they are both polar opposites and since the spindown die has an evil-ish color scheme and the spinup die has a angelic/sacred kind of color scheme i think it’d only make sense if that was a thing
Also you get spindown for beating delirium or mega satan as isaac

sure, but you'll need to reduce it's weight to 0.5 in order to even out the chances of finding them in a run

Found Soul can also use active items, so it might have been a glitch involving using Spinup Dice and also the Item Description Mod. Found Soul would have Spun Up the item twice which is what happened when you tried to get Quad Shot

Tbh Epiphany should partner with the people who made spinup and add it as an unlock. It just fits so well, just gotta spruce up that sprite a bit. (aswell as fixing that bug)

you were correct i know found soul also can use some active items like so Shoop Da Whoop!, some items don't get used twice but they are tagged, and holden tab makes it so you dont have your trinket active bcs that is also the button to drop the trinket, not sure tho
Damn its got the white bag colour scheme too, white and cyan go together really freaking well. Also I was thinking about a spinup dice a few days ago and whether that would be better than spindown so this video is a god send.

My best geuss as to why that was happening, is that the game is registering 2 presses of whatever button your using for the spinup-dice. If you use space bar for that, maybe the button gets slightly stuck or something, idk.
Dual weild spindown and spinup with schoolbag, might be a fun run
I thought of a tboi npc: a dnd player-style forger who can change a dice item to another one for money, 5 cents to change it to a quality 1 die, 10 cents for 2, 20 for 3, and 45 for 4. He could also take 3 dice items to make the D infinity. And could change the spin-up or spindown die to "spin-round dice" which can do both of the things spin up and spin down do
You should try a run where you start with potato peeler but all items are health ups (any hp up:breakfast,sacred heart etc)

Spin middle dice idea 1: it does both spin down and up it first goes down by 2 then when used again goes up by 2
Idea 2: turns an item into another item that does similar things example: D6 eternal -> D6 or soy milk -> almond milk, sacred orb -> damaclease

I've had that happen with the spindown before, where it was supposed to spin down into the next item, but instead it pretty much rerolled into an item that's not even close to being "-1". I tried spinning that pedestal several times and it happened, so it's not that I didn't have the item unlocked or anything, it happened like 3+ times.

both thematicly and balance-vice it doesnt make sense. Spindown dice is an actual thing used to track health and stuff on board games and spinning up is way more powerful since important items are more often high in the seed list
Spinup Dice should raise an items quality to a new item to differentiate it more from Spindown.
Its a bit cursed the spinup dice but the problem that you had whit it was that it was doing double effect for some reasson i don't understand

when you had a small soul as a companion, then the bug works
When lazy mattman dice (it lets you be silly and have the ability to to transform the dice into a spinup dice or a spindown dice and it has no cooldown and infinite uses)
