Have to admit James I don't like. The socket in a bathroom thing either However I've come across. Loads inside vanity units or built in cupboards in a bathroom it's something you can't Control but let's not encourage it
2.5mtr in bathroom obviously they have looked at appliances and most have 1.5 leads so never going to reach the bath without plugging in the extension lead !!!!
The CRL was awful, DNO's did not provide the information and therefore nobody ever did it. The clarification is better but I still believe a simple "all new installation shall have over voltage protection" would be even better still.
Hi Garry, Thank you for pointing that out. I did mistakenly say milliamps instead of milliseconds. I will add a comment to the video to clarify this. Kind regards James
Hi everyone, just to clarify that the maximum time for the RCD test is now 300 milliseconds. I mistakenly said milliamps in the video.

Hi James. In the RCD section, you inadvertently use the words "300mA" in a couple of places rather than "300ms"
Hi Garry,
Thank you for pointing that out. I did mistakenly say milliamps instead of milliseconds. I will add a comment to the video to clarify this.
Kind regards
