I completely agree with you but I'm glad that I get along with my in laws. It's true marriage is an EQUAL PARTNERSHIP nothing more nothing less any man who acts like that isn't a man he's an overgrown child.

The first time my husband threatens me with a divorce over a stupid argument...would be his 1st and last.. I will immediately sign.. I'm not very good with threats, emotional blackmail & manipulation.That would just piss me off🤌🏽.. Tim wasn't interested in a wife. He wanted a 2nd mother/unpaid maid.. I hate to hear that word "obey" your husband ".. that word "obey" wasn't anywhere near my vows.. the only thing I'm "obeying" is the law. Tim is just like his stupid dad.
It would be better to sit down on a bear trap than to threaten my wife with divorce. There's an old joke about a man sitting down on a bear trap where the punch line was that the only thing worse than sitting on the bear trap was reaching the end of the chain.
