being able to afford mid-range/high end products is a luxury, and i find it very dismissive and elitist to assert that other people should just "deal with being poor" by not allowing them to scratch their itch to participate in trends. dupes are wonderful and MUR is not the only brand that produces them! and who doesn't want something cheaper that might be of comparable quality to the more expensive versions, even when you can afford either one? we can all benefit from the existence of dupes. if more expensive brands are so offended that their products are being copied well then maybe they should consider not making them so damn expensive in the first place lol. of course MUR is in it for the money and not doing it because they feel morally compelled to do folks with smaller salaries a favor, but they are certainly proving there's a market for dupes at a lower price point, which is what businesses are supposed to do if they want to be successful - they need to cater to their audience. not to mention i dont particularly like kvd, too faced, j* etc so it's nice to be able to buy products similar to ones they produce without actually having to support brands that i take issues with from an ethical standpoint!

For the brows you said you don't know any good products - I use I heart makeup set, it's a tiny palette with three different shades of powder (you have three or four different palettes I think) and a wax, and a little brush and tweezers ... I really like it except the wax doesn't really do anything for me ... by the way I love your eye look in this video 💞💞💞

I've been experiencing creasing with my Juvia's Place Zulu & Magic Palettes, & I wondered if they do the same thing for you? Other people I've asked all use primer or base of some kind, & I don't have those.
Hmm no I always just use concealer and then powder, with every palette. But I dont have either dry or oily lids so I dont need a primer. But maybe try with a primer with those then? :)
I never understand why people get so upset when youtubers don't do their hair for videos or wear a shirt that's stained or something stupid like that... like when you're a makeup youtuber, it shouldn't matter what your hair looks like in a MAKEUP video. If you were doing a GRWM, a HAIR VIDEO, something that actually has to do with hair, then yeah, you'd do your hair. It shouldn't be obligatory for a video about makeup to also feature a nice hairdo. It wouldn't be wrong for you to do your hair for a makeup vid, but it shouldn't be required.
I think its annoying when they leave their hair down hanging onto their face and refuse to move it! Who does their makeup with hair in their face and goes around the hair! Also, makeup is messy, so i get dressed after i apply makeup!
Hi Ang! Just a little friendly constructive criticism, but is there any way you can do different color back drops instead of using your blue wall all the time? I'm not sure why but it makes my vision blurry looking at it for too long. Maybe I'm just too old over here. But ya, thank you for all the videos you produce! They taught the metric and English system when I was in school with the intent to convert; then never converted. Talk about wasted time I can never get back; I could have been playing - our swings at school were super. I think knowing both completely would be useful if your career revolved around math, but mine doesn't. I would prefer the metric system though because you're right - get with it is what we need to do and we should have converted as planned. I also have to add, it seems like Soph Does Nails was doing her best to ruin yours today and I'm so glad she failed, but there were so many difficult to open packages that it was rather funny and ironic because of the name, even though she didn't do the packaging. I'm so glad there was humor in this video because I need a BREAK from everyday life very badly today and having some fun helps so much - thank you for showing another amazing look but also for just making so many videos I enjoy watching, having fun with it, and being who you are. Excuse my frustration but I f*****g hate living in a country that refuses to use a base ten measurement system (metric), and instead uses ounces and pints, feet and miles...English system or w/e. On a brighter note lol. Don't you love it when your neighbors have literal concerts all day...and all night. No, really, I live in Cincinnati OH, and it's so culture rich it's astounding. On my street during the day and weekend nights we have cranked up rap in houses and cars (doesn't bother me at all.) Then sometimes in the evening, all you have to do is walk down the hill 2 houses, and you'll hear my neighbor John on his giant grand piano playing Moonlight Sonata or Fur Elise (again, no bother.) There's a sweet guy up the street 3 houses, but he's got a brain development issue. He has a very very large karaoke system, and he practices his free style rap all day...and ALL night. It's annoying, but he gets a free pass because I don't have any kids in need of sleep. Literal concerts lol. Had to share.
Jamie I'm actually from Carlisle near the Franklin Springboro area. My hubs is from Cinci and he lived up there with me for 5 years then we moved closer to his family. My family's still up there and I come up once a month 😁
