TO ANYONE CONTEMPLATING BUYING THIS PALETTE: ok so I got this palette as a Christmas present and I know that some of makeup revolution eyeshaddow palettes aren't very pigmented so I didn't have very high hopes for this product. I WAS SO WRONG! Honestly, this has now become one of my new fave eyeshaddow palettes because it's super pigmented and the colours are perfect and can be used to create various different looks. I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND! Also: its super affordable so If you are wondering whether it's worth giving it a try, it definitely is. X

What I love about this palette is that the shades are perfect for one-shade looks. I don't do multi-hue eye looks (life is too short) and in the rare moments I do it's just a matte with a wash of shimmer on top. Because of the shade range, I feel like this is the only palette I need in my life right now.

I'm kind of debating with myself if I should get both palettes or only the highlighter palette... why? I typically don't wear colors like the ones in your eyeshadow palette at all but that also means I don't own colors like that yet... Also: I know a ton of people who would look so beautiful when using these eyeshadows. So I dunno... well, I guess I have a bit of time left to think about it ^^ The highlighters are perfection in my opinion and I hope I can get my hands on that palette. I totally love the shades you picked there.
Julia Kirsty it's like under £20 for both so you may as well get both even if you don't use them much... they're so cheap it's not like crazy money on something you won't use...
Julia Kirsty you could always buy both so you can experiment with some of the new colours and see how you like them. If you end up not liking the colours so much then that's always something to know for future reference when buying palettes! But if you're completely certain you won't like the eyeshadow palette, then don't feel the need to buy it. I'm the opposite, the eyeshadow palette looks really up my street, while the highlighter palette not as much but is still tempting to try 🙈
Congrats Sophie. Both palettes look gorgeous. I just wish Makeup revolution would stop using parabens in all of their products. I've stopped buying their products because they contain parabens. But I guess I'll make an exception and buy those 2 because of you and because I want to support you. xx
They're artificial preservatives (they keep your makeup from getting bad) and they are potentially harmful because they mimic estrogen (female hormone) and can be linked to breast cancer. Not 100% proven by scientists though, but a pretty good reason for me to try to stay away from products which contain parabens. Makeup revolution products usually have at least 2 of those parabens - Methylparaben, Propylparaben etc.

i have the highlighting pallette and the gold pressed shade is by farrrrr my favourite, it is a little too dark for me so i use it when i tan, but it is amazing!! they all are amazing

I've used the black shade with the Zoeva winged liner brush to fill in my brows and it did such an amazing job. The brows didn't look powdery or unnatural.
