Great video, but I can't see how the title matches. There is Greek lore about a battle of " the titans". That lore seems to fit some ancient texts that describe how God killed off the children of the Angels, ie "sons of God" by some sort of battle. I had thought that was the topic.

I am on board with these, and love hearing the speakers you compiled into this video! One thing I learned from Kenneth E. Bailey is how Jesus' listeners in Luke 4.14-30 were not amazed at how great Jesus' teaching was, as many English translations would have us think, but actually astonished from verse 22 onwards in a way that speaks more of being outraged, amazed that he would show grace to the Gentiles, and disappointed that no true Messiah could have mercy on the Gentiles. The Gentiles were viewed as wicked, oppressive, and doomed to face the wrath of God and of the Messiah - period. Thus, it is not a change of attitude, as some preachers see it (4.22 vs. 4.28), nor one group of people getting one idea and another group another idea as Tim Mackie seems to be saying. It is a continuation of the same idea in 4.22 being intensified in 4.28 by the same group of people. I may write Tim about this, but if Ring Them Bells has a way to pass this along, that would be fantastic.
I saw Kenneth Bailey in Juneau Alaska for a seminar and his understanding of specifically the parable (consisting of 3 stories) in Luke 15 was eye opening.

God said we are above the animals not down with them because we have a Spiritual Soul. We need a Savior for our sin nature. Animals are made to be animals not to be made like a human which is what people are doing in these times. I call it the cult of dog, but seriously, many have elevated these inbred creatures, with all the wild taken out of their essence, and used them for prime companionship, abandoning the commandment to love each other. I can see the argument that domesticated dogs and cats are an abomination in a similar vein as the unsanctioned hybrids produced in the time of the nephilim. A telling anecdote to the rebellious nature of pet love is the all to common meme, "the more people I meet, the more I love my dog". Of course, Tim is a Hebrew scholar, while I only got as far as kindergarten in studying Hebrew, but I truly believe that there is strong textual evidence that the first division is Genesis 1:1 through Genesis 2:4 (I/O 2:3). This textual evidence also indicates that the various sections of Genesis were each written by the primary characters in each section. For example, Adam authored Genesis 2:5 through Genesis 5:2. This clearly explains why there appears to be TWO creation accounts back-to-back (a puzzle for which no one else has been able to venture a logical and reasonable explanation).

God is light. Psalm 104:2, 1 john 1:5. Elohim are frequencies of light, visible and invisible attributes. Romans 1:20 Some were used to make flesh righteous in the order of the day of the Ancient of Days brings them. Some destroy it. Not abiding in the good light prevents healing (Great Physician) of the damage. Not abiding in the night brings more damage and negates the healing happening in the night. It is the inherent choice to accept the day and night to the flesh, or any other light and night that does the good or evil in that flesh. all things exist for the purpose of GOD'S GLORY to be revealed and praised. He created the sandbox. His sons all have free will. Only one son is HIS begotten one assigned to lead the Elohimm making the earth as GOD instructed. The ones that that built it in their image not GOD'S pushed JESUS out. Why is Gen 1 and 2 different? Gen 1: creation order was animals first, then man and woman together. Gen 2: creation order was man 1st, animals 2nd, then woman 3rd. Completely different. I have to disagree with your view on Jesus temptation. What Matthew wants the reader to know is Jesus is the true Israel who obeyed Gods word, and was willing to die even if it meant for him not to go on the cross. The Exodus language is throughout the book. Secondly, Mark only has two verses. He is know for his use of the greek word "εὐθὺς" means immediately. On the other hand, Luke use is a lot different, he agrees with Matthew 4:4 cf Luke 4:4, but disagrees with Matthew 4:7 because Luke has Matthews two quotes reversed. A lot more can be said, but Matthew and Luke differ probably on is Semetic and the other gentile.

Angelic beings are all immortal spirits (Hebrews 1:14), whereas mankind are all mortal flesh... vastly different. >#3) * God is the creator of all life, why would He breathe life into these hybrids and then blame mankind before the flood? ~ Deuteronomy 32:39; “See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides me. Great video, but I can't see how the title matches. There is Greek lore about a battle of " the titans". That lore seems to fit some ancient texts that describe how God killed off the children of the Angels, ie "sons of God" by some sort of battle. I had thought that was the topic.

I am on board with these, and love hearing the speakers you compiled into this video! One thing I learned from Kenneth E. Bailey is how Jesus' listeners in Luke 4.14-30 were not amazed at how great Jesus' teaching was, as many English translations would have us think, but actually astonished from verse 22 onwards in a way that speaks more of being outraged, amazed that he would show grace to the Gentiles, and disappointed that no true Messiah could have mercy on the Gentiles. The Gentiles were viewed as wicked, oppressive, and doomed to face the wrath of God and of the Messiah - period. Thus, it is not a change of attitude, as some preachers see it (4.22 vs. 4.28), nor one group of people getting one idea and another group another idea as Tim Mackie seems to be saying. It is a continuation of the same idea in 4.22 being intensified in 4.28 by the same group of people. I may write Tim about this, but if Ring Them Bells has a way to pass this along, that would be fantastic.
I saw Kenneth Bailey in Juneau Alaska for a seminar and his understanding of specifically the parable (consisting of 3 stories) in Luke 15 was eye opening.

Of course, Tim is a Hebrew scholar, while I only got as far as kindergarten in studying Hebrew, but I truly believe that there is strong textual evidence that the first division is Genesis 1:1 through Genesis 2:4 (I/O 2:3).
This textual evidence also indicates that the various sections of Genesis were each written by the primary characters in each section.
For example, Adam authored Genesis 2:5 through Genesis 5:2. This clearly explains why there appears to be TWO creation accounts back-to-back (a puzzle for which no one else has been able to venture a logical and reasonable explanation).

Yeah... I think we get too entrenched into the idea of "day"... we didn't have the sun to mark out the day until what... ? day 3? I think it was Chuck Missler who put forward the idea that the word for "day" in the very beginning would have meant something like his first infusion or shift (as in dayshift/nightshift - the first period of working and effort - right? I have to disagree with your view on Jesus temptation. What Matthew wants the reader to know is Jesus is the true Israel who obeyed Gods word, and was willing to die even if it meant for him not to go on the cross. The Exodus language is throughout the book. Secondly, Mark only has two verses. He is know for his use of the greek word "εὐθὺς" means immediately. On the other hand, Luke use is a lot different, he agrees with Matthew 4:4 cf Luke 4:4, but disagrees with Matthew 4:7 because Luke has Matthews two quotes reversed. A lot more can be said, but Matthew and Luke differ probably on is Semetic and the other gentile.
