    Very nice ride and memories ! Curious as to what kind of mileage your getting ; I grew up driving Corvairs and I think they are about 600-800 lbs heavier than the Beatles .

      I can get between 24 to 26 average. If I keep at 55mph on the interstate I've seen 29 but that is miserable to drive so I typically just get 24/26

    I'm in the process of building a Baja beetle, quick question what size tires are you running on that car

      295/50 r15 on the back. I'll have to look at the front when I get home tonight. I have switched the front sizes a bunch so I don't remember what is currently on the front

    i always was afraid to spray my baja engine, will give a try next time since i have waterproof covers for my carbs

      Ive always just covered the carbs and clean away. The only time i have had issues was when i had a cracked distributor cap and got moisture in it but a quick wipe and it was gtg.

    Street buggy has no ground clearance, the whole reason for a baja is for off road! A class 11 is more of a baja than this one.
