Thank you for watching. I applied a keratin treatment to my mom hair that is 99% gray. No color change and it has helped her tremendously. FOR APPOINTMENTS: SEVENZENHAIR.COM or you can TEXT/CALL 856-219-6717
Great job. Love her hair. Nice of you to take care of your mom’s hair. Cherish her while you still have her. Once they are gone you can’t. I miss my mom so much.
Awww it's your mommy, (teardrop) I miss my mommy RIP mom...... your mom's hair is simply beautiful beginning to end. Cool video😁💕 This was sooo satisfying to watch...lol
Hello! I have a quick question. When someone with platinum blonde hair wants to do this treatment is it usually toned before the straightening or after? I just wonder because the clarifying shampoo would strip the toner out right? Otherwise you, your mom and her hair are beautiful! I really really loved the end results and the atmosphere in your salon is just very calming.
A remarkable transformation! Which shampoo and deep conditioner does she use in order to prolong the life of the keratin treatment? Since brands tend to have numerous collections, please share which products she uses. Thank you!
I would love to have a Keratin treatment with my gray hair. I can't tell because of the lighting but did the high heat of the flat iron cause yellowing? How do you maintain the gray color with the Keratin treatment?
Good question because I used to do keratin treatment on my black hair and it always change the color that’s why with my gray hair I’m afraid to do keratine
Ohhh...my goodness! Your mom is beautiful as well as her hair. I would give anything if my mom could of had thick, white hair like your mom. My mom had "cotton candy" hair. It was thin but a nice texture. She destroyed hair (edges) back in the day with those foam pink rollers and bad relaxers from a relative who wasn't skilled in doing professional relaxers. Ugh...nightmare. My mom has since passed. She passed away in June of 2018. I miss her sooo...much! I love a round brush. When I worked in the salon before getting sick, I'd use a round brush on my male clientele. The ones that had alot of curl in their hair and would want it smooth but with a lot of body. I'd also use it on my women clientele, those that wanted body in their without using a big curling iron. The big marcel irons tells my age...ha..ha..ha.. it was the only thing we had in the 80s and 90s when I did hair. Ma'am you have serious talent. I'm so glad I found your channel. It's inspired me to want to record a video or 2 on my "not-so-good" youtube channel. Thank you for being a inspiration ! Have a blessed night!
I love this comment so much. First sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Makes me appreciate even more than I still have mine. I love round brushing curls into the hair as well but it just seems so much heat. I do those for certain clients every once in a blue. Yes you should do it all for your channel. I started this channel to do a video or two to show people to try and build a clientele and it took off I’m so grateful. I will follow your channel waiting for you to post your videos
@@sevenzenhair67 thank you for the kind words. Sometimes all it takes is someone to appreciate a person's stuff. Just so you know I'm subscribed to your channel as well. Lol. You and your family have a very blessed day!
China Dall it last 4 months and while it’s in it MIGHT lessen your curl. If it does, it comes right back once it wears off. My next video I will show my sisters curls with the keratin in. Thank you for watching!
I like waves. I'm thinking that maybe a partial treatment can accommodate to different tastes. When the treatment on the video were starting it looked straighter, yet with volume. Maybe that medium stage would suit me ::D
Your mom's hair is beautiful. How long does the keratin treatment last? Also, on her next wash day, will her curls come back? Or is this a temporary straightening product?
How regular should keratin be applied to the hair to keep it manageable if you trying to grow out your hair? I have naturally curly hair and recently had a keratin treatment done also but its currently short, trying to grow it out.
Oh god i need help.. im stuck here from yesterday i really love this channel idk why but watching this is pretty satisfying..♥️♥️♥️and oh did I mentioned that this lady's hair is absolutely ✨ gorgeous ✨ your mom is so cute and so you are♥️♥️♥️♥️
Her hair is so lovely and manageable, I have gray hair and it looks like someone has grabbed my hair in the front and dyed it gray while the hair in the back is still it’s natural color, I have a question now how do I keep my gray hair gray and it not turn dull
Wow, I’m sure that looks beautiful. As soon as I finish playing with color I will go full gray and god willing it’s like my mom. I use a shine serum on my moms hair before styling. Mizani therasmooth or moraccan oil. Try those and give me feedback.
Just an FYI...if hair is grey and you want to keep it nice a grey and bright as well as shiny just use a shampoo called Shimmering Lights by Clairol. Only use the Shimmering Lights shampoo when you notice any yellowish/ brassy tones or color. Otherwise just use your regular shampoo of choice. The yellow/ brassy tones just comes from being outdoors or around people who smoke. Horrible!! Have a blessed day!
@@j.a.whittler6983 Ah this leads to my concern- I was curious if all the heat needed for the treatment would cause yellowing, and that's answered in the video. But since I use purple shampoo 2-3 times a month would it still be ok to use after having a keratin treatment? Sulfates are no-no right?
@@angelar1500 ....this really depends. It depends on your exposure to the elements. Any excessive heat can cause yellowing on grey/white colored hair. If the person who's doing your keratin treatment just remembers to keep the heat on the flat iron on the safest level you should be fine. As far as the purple shampoo, you can use as long as your hair porosity is healthy. If your hair is the slightest bit dry/heat damaged there's a chance your hair will pickup a purplish tint rather than the whitening effect you desire. Sulfates are a no-no. Those shampoos strip the hair of its moisture. I hope I kind of helped you, lol...
So, I have Venetian Hair...and this means it's frizzy-wavy, fine, and airy. And as I'm greying this frizzy-wavy hair is now coarse, frizzy-wavy...especially around my face. This is awful! I have refined features and the coarseness of this increased frizziness around my face is just so wrong against my features. I feel ugly! And...I have thinning hair on top of this (thanks, dad), so the Japanese Hair-Straightening Perms are not an option. How would your Keratin Smoothing technique work around the face? This coarse, wild-hair thing that goes on around the face is the hardest for me. Ideas, suggestions, techniques, products? Intel...please.
Keratin wears off so I would recommend it because if it doesn’t work you won’t be stuck. I have a handful of clients that do it because they say it makes their hair feel fuller. I use keratherapy and keratin complex brands. You can just do it around the face. But also try anti frizz serums. I like granier fructis anti humidity and mizani therasmooth serum. Also try a light weight leave in conditioner. Pureology has a good one. Make sure to only try one product at a time so you know what works and what doesn’t.
If she was asking for more hair to be cut off, I don't understand why you didn't cut away more into a style for her that flattered her face. She has beautiful hair and I loved her curls before the treatment.
She wanted more trimmed off the ends. As I stated in the I did go back in and took more off. My mom refuses to get a “cut”. Her daily hairstyle is a ponytail or a bun. She doesn’t want short pieces in it. I love her curls too. She let me do a wash and go but she hated it and asked me to straighten it the next day. Thank you for watching.

Doesn’t gray hair turn yellowish after a keratin treatment?
No i haven’t had that happen. It’s the heat that makes it yellowish
How come you only processed for 15 instead of an hour? Does it change the results? Does it better protect the curl pattern?
Per manufacturer instruction. You only need to process 15mins
