DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. - Tears flowed during testimony over whether an embattled Douglas County probate judge should be punished for her actions both on and off the bench.
Christina Peterson faces 30 counts of violating the judicial code of conduct, including decisions she made before ever becoming a judge.

Cry me a river lady. Makes me so angry. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen this same thing, where significantly unqualified people, racial minority, were hired directly or indirectly, for affirmative actions reasons in government positions. Although I did not like the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, one thing he did get correct is when he said "Affirmative Action gives economic incentive to hire unqualified people". Let me be clear, there is lots of incompetence & abuse of power in the legal system, not just among racial minorities. I am not an attorney, but I did go to law school, and I do work in the legal arena.

The judge actually ordered her jailed for 22 days. Her husband bailed her out after 48 hours. She would had been in jail for 22 days if her family couldn't come up with the money. The judge also charged her personal expense such as her car insurance on the County credit card 🙄🙄🙄

I think it’s telling that most judges don’t keep that salary. Combined with the entire HOA fiasco, I think there is a pattern of greediness.

I'm confused. If her keeping the fees was *legal* to do...why then is it an issue? She broke no laws on that part but then let's focus in on and talk about all the other improprieties she's committed as well as her narcissism.
They brought that up because of how many other bogus cases she presides over did she intentionally collected the fees and was unreasonable. Only 1 so far did jail time, but her husband bailed her out for 500 dollars. How much did that go to her ? She also made an excuse for her shitty job as probate judge stating she was inexperienced and young but yet she wanted and did make as much as an experienced judge 😂😂😂😂 wtf They better review every one of her cases !
