I think even if I am doing 11s and B16B no turbo just AWD with the limited slip it might be a good idea to go AWD and drop like .500 off my time Puts me in a much faster class and has a huge advantage. I mean at this point with just 300 HP in a CRX you can be running 10s like it was nothing. This is changing the game from the Lowest Honda to the Highest of them running out there. The other manufacturers have to compete now with these things. Hondas keep moving up the scale. Slowly but surely we are taking out the faster cars that people once knew.
It is changing the whole game, now a lot of domestic guys don't want to race AWD Hondas.

I love Hondas with all my heart but if you watch that at 0.25 playback speed you can see the wheels are moving when the lights go yellow, the car is squatting and moving then the light goes green, I cant believe that came up as a .000, id fucking love a awd civc tho, dont think id want another car well maybe another older civic
This is normal it is a part of drag racing at a track. There is an allowed distance of movement before the beams are triggered that determine a red light. You may be confused with the street racing scene that doesn't allow for that.

The car moved before the light turned green,. There’s about 16” between the pre stage and stage beams. If you shallow stage you can leave a bit earlier without red lighting which is what happened. He cut a .000 light because of this. It is a risky approach but if done right and with some luck it can work.

The real reason why Honda never did AWD VTec cars is that they knew ppl in that late 80s and early 90s weren't worthy of this type of awesomeness and would of resulted in a lot of Asians getting killed in street races or carjackings. And frankly, I like my privacy in hell so im glad Honda stuck to FWD vtecs lol
