My belief that Allah(SWT) is pleased with Ali (A.S.) comes from the battle of Khayber and the event of Ghadeer(Eid-Ul-Ghadeer)

I’m baffled how my Muslim brothers can disrespect each other in such a way in the comments below. Please listen to the speaker and what he says about Tawakol and righteousness of the Sahaba. Does it matter if Ali (ra) was the1st khalif or the 2nd or 4th. This is 1400 years ago. Did our beloved Mohammad (pbbh) teach us to speak to our fellow Muslims like this?

instead of saying Hazrat Ali [radhi Allaho taala anho] ,say moula Ali [alaihe salam] . its the right of moula Ali [AS]. moula means the leader and its mentioned in the hadith that once Prophet Muhammad [SAW] had said that I am the moula [leader] of those whose moula is Ali [AS].

Because he was one of the strongest, and most feared. People were too scared to fight him. Ali (RA) had trust in Allah, so that's why he went.

I saw on a program that the PA to the Primeminister wasn't practicing and got Hidayat , Alhamdu-lillah, and she was advised to write a letter to 'her boss' ASKING him if there is a place she can pray... he felt touched and embarrased that his 'staff' wrote a letter to him, he assigned her a special room, AllahuAkbar...

Check about the Ayah of Mubahala (challenge against the Christians of Nazran). This example is in the Holy Quran I believe but not mentioning the names. But in the Tafseer it is cleared about Who all were confronting the Christians by only Cursing each other. The Christians when saw the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came with only four others Imam Ali, Fatima (RA), Imam Hasan and Imam Hossain instead of all great Arabian fighters then suddenly one of them could realize what devastation was heading towards them. So, he asked others to stop the challenge of"Cursing" each other and he requested our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to stop Cursing them and they withdrew from "Mubahala/Mubahila" . Our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was never attacker nor he forced anybody to accept his religion. He just invited explaining the problem of disobedience to call of Almighty Allah. Similarly Imam Ali and all the members of Ahlul Bayts and their progeni follows the same system. Imam Ali was really an exceptional human being, only man who was born inside Kaba, the first muslim among the males when he was around eight to ten years of age, and one of them who was present during the Mubahala.
Later Imam Ali was trained by our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to such a great extent that he could say, "None should enter the mosque in Napak condition except Ali and Me". People should how high was his status. Do you really need more examples ?

I am sure you either don't know or will make a story like the Sunnis. My answer is it is Omar who killed Fatima. Why ? When they have elected Abu Bakar as the first Caliph and Imam Ali remained absent in their Election, then Omar came to take Imam Ali to owe allegiance to Caliph Abu Bakar. But how can a man like Imam Ali, the announced Maula, announced by our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), go to owe allegiance to Abu Bakar the PHD holder in Munafeqism ? As such, he didn't go. So the angry man Omar went to the house of Imam Ali. He knocked the door asking for Imam Ali to come out. Mother Fatima was beside the door, she did not open the door and said that Imam Ali can not go. Then super arrogant Omar became furious and hit the door hard to enter the house by force. The door broke and hit then pregnant mother Fatima. As a result of this strike on mother Fatima, after a few days their newly born son Muhsin died after birth and mother Fatima also died after a few days. Before death mother Fatima requested Imam Ali that these culprits must not attend her funeral rituals like Janaja prayer and Burial and she should be buried at night so that nobody knows where and when she was buried. From history it is learnt that in that night two three other women also died who also had the same name as Fatima. Very interesting to know that only few others knew this and attended the full rituals of mother Fatima. They are Abu Zar Giffari, Salman Farshi, Al Mikdam, Imam Hasan, Imam Hossain. There were two/three more Sahabas who's name I have forgotten now. Rest you can find out.

Can someone help me: I have always heard arguements that speaks for Ali as the first Khalif, and they gave examples, like no one else would stand up for the prophet even when they got more than one time the chance and Ali was the one who stood up, as a young teenage and as an adult: My Question is, why do most of Muslims hear so much about Omar and Abu Bakr, one being his best friend, one being very tall and strong, the question what comes to my mind is, why did theye individuals not say they would fight him, I am confused about the story tellings that I also had about Omar and Abu Bakr, but I would like to understand what the arguments on the other side is, whi are speaking so much about these two Khalifs more than the 4th one, even though Omar Suleiman says that there is no other companien that had more virtuous narration about, than Ali, but why do we hear in compare to Abu Bakr and Omar so much less about Ali. Maybe there is an senseble Answer to this or maybe not, maybe it is because of the political conflict of shia and sunni, shia are talking more about ali and sunnis are talking more about abu bakr.
But one of them gives good points why they speaks more about the other one rather than the other
Read about Ghadir khum shortly before the death of the Prophet, and inshallah you will find the truth

Correct. Read about Ghadir Khumm. Everything will be cleared. And also the politics of Election of 1st Caliph disregarding the selection system of Almighty Allah (the way He decided/selected His Prophets). Also the drama of leaving aside the Prophet's dead body without Janaja and go for Election of a Caliph. What would you consider this - - - ?

Abu Baker Umar Uthman Ali
Sunnis believe Abu Baker was the successor of the prophet and Shias believe Ali is
I am a Sunni but I don’t think any of them were successors
Sure they led the Muslims after the prophets death but none can be as Great as the prophet
To me Ali and Abu Baker and Uthman and Umar are just as good and strong in faith as each other

Hi there sister, i am not american or even live any where near. An advise i could give is find a community of islam in other places, hijrah as our prophet do because woman in islam is demanded to be protect because they are both precious and vulnerable to be alone.

When I see muslems specially those theology teachers like the host of this channel, I see and feel something in their face which is very rare among other people. Imam Ali was next to the chest of the Prophet as a baby so he stated so "I remember the smell of his skin."
My whole confusion with Ali is what happened after the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) death. So what if Muhammad (PBUH) didnt name a successor. He was the Messenger of God. As many suggested, why not vote in for a Caliph? Why was Ali so persistent with being successor? Look at all the collateral damage that was done during those two battles of muslims killing each other. The second battle involving over 45K thousand casualties. Can you imagine fighting during the night with swords and arrows? Truly some really sad events especially with many of these people personally witnessing a man receiving the message of God in person.

Has imam Umar confused the stories of Amr ibn abd wudd and Mirhab the king of Khaybar. Ali fought then both but the line - I am the one whose mother named him Haidar - is from his battle with Mirhab
