    "....when I get to the Kingdom." - Mr. Batchelor
    He sure is confident.

    • @Redhollow
      @Redhollow 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Why shouldn't he be? Jesus promised us a place in Heaven--it's not a lottery, it's assured. If you love Jesus and keep His commandments (which is proof of your love and will result in a Christ-like character), and if you truly believe He can free you from your sins, you'll find yourself in Heaven come the end. The only reason to doubt your seat in Heaven is if you haven't study enough Scriptures to establish strong faith, or if you have some obvious fault in your life that's impeding your salvation (drunkness, lust, fornication, unrepented sins, etc).

      Red Hollow Maybe so or I'm not confident enough.

    • @Redhollow
      @Redhollow 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Well, are you placing your confidence? In yourself, or in Jesus? Because the former could get you in trouble, but if you keep your eyes on Jesus without looking back or doubting (as little as possible), I can assure you great things will happen.
      Either way, take it at your pace. Establish a rhythm and get to know God. You'll find yourself right on track (or at the very least you'll know which track is the right one).

    My favourite instant gratification thought was: What if i never get married? i won't get to experience sex. i may as well trial a bit of casual sex because in heaven we won't be married or be taken up in marriage so probably no sex if God only likes sex within a marriage. i didn't act on it but it was there. i thought it would take me ages to get to marriage as i thought girls i was in a relationship would get bored of no sex.

    Please, anyone in the know help me to clarify the following doubt.
    It is written that the wages of sin is death. Now, they say Christ took up our sins and paid for them with death in our stead.
    Here's my confusion:
    On the one hand, if this 'death' spoken of is eternal death, then Christ did not pay the price, for He was only dead for 2 nights.
    He did not die like sinners will, that is, eternally. That is to say, He did not fully cover them.
    On the other hand, if the wages of sin is physical death, which Christ did suffer, then why do holy saints (such as Paul, John, Stephen, mother Theresa) still have to die physically? Did Christ not die in their place already?
    Don't say that He died physically so that you may not die eternally. That's too vulgar and cheap an answer.

      @@TimpBizkit Wow. I hadn't seen this reply and it was posted 3 years ago! So, my response to your post is: Buahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...etc. That. Was. Funny. :-D On a more serious note, I wonder if you think that being in jail one day is enough for all crimes. Or should the punishment fit the crime? BTW, if you've ever burned yourself on a hot stove or with cooking oil, you know that a couple of milliseconds feels too long. Bottom line is this, though, Tim: If you think you have the intellect, wisdom, and power to run the solar system--not to mention the entire universe--then you can offer an alternative that's better than either the caricaturized interpretation of punishment by fire or the actual meaning of a final, all consuming, once-and-for-all, never-to-happen-again fire that ends in an extinction (non-existence) from which there is no resurrection, then I'd like to see you outdo the All-Wise Almighty. My attempts at it have been futile. :-)

    What do we say about this text ...
    Romans 1:18-27
    For this reason wGod gave them up to xdishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, ymen committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

    Im sorry, its not what we want, its what God wants.
    I want them saved.
    1 Cor 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? no fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,... shall inherit the kingdom of God.
    1 Cor 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

    I'll admit that I don't expect a reply, but, after sharing this on Facebook, and then stumbling over Doug's misinformed statement on Gay marriage (I mean, seriously, don't we Want them married? Isn't that a no-brainer?) I asked George Takei if he'd want me to stop watching Doug's videos because Doug is misinformed on Gay marriage. Like I said, I don't expect a response. George Takei is a busy, married man. (btw, how the hell is pornography different from a pack of toothpicks?)

    False Teachers preach the ONE and ONLY established Church of Jesus Christ being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH is the "harlot to the nations". Ezekiel 23:30. GOD calls "who" the "harlot to the nations"??? Which is clearly lying and should not be trusted with any Biblical interpretations???
