I have two. They are nice for many reasons. I've used mine a whole bunch and I'm happy. I've ran everything from hotdogs to burgers and steak and salmon.
I bought one of these for about $60. It's great for the beach or the park. Since it's not too expensive, it's easily replaceable every couple of years. Great review.
Just bought one today. Wanted the charcoal version, but settled with the gas version. It worked out in the end because i realized how inexpensibe the gas canisters are (2 for $7) conpared to charcoal. Also how convenient it is to just pop it outside and turn it on compared to prepping the charcoal and letting them come up to temperature.
Ha! I did the same. I actually have a PK Go and was looking for a smaller version. Then I thought about having to clean maintain and manage the charcoal on the road. Nahhhh... Propane makes a lot more sense in that setting. When I want charcoal, I'll use my PKGo.
I have a tiny charcoal grill and we don’t mind the time and mess. But in a general sense, it is really awesome to have a tiny grill. Throw it in the back of the truck you can have a way to cook. It’s great.
Hi anyone have problems with the legs? I purchased this grill and for some reason it collapses with weight and I followed all instructions it came with and everything is built right. Any recommendations?
Just bought one at Walmart Today. Super excited to use it. Nothing like the outdoors, grilling steaks, and drinking a Cold beer with Mother Nature. I was debating for while if I should've purchased the charcoal one since its cheaper. But im so glad i purchased the gas instead. And definitely yes the gas canisters are way cheaper and more efficient.
Awesome review. I have the charcoal version of this and yes, while thin and not as solid feeling, this will be the 3rd season it has been in service. I just picked up a new one today, to put it aside when the one I have, finally gives out. Very happy with it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, be well. JB
@@anonymousvapes8026 It was and it's a good idea to clean it. I wasn't paying attention and left it with spent charcoal that got rained on. The unit and rack rusted. I can't use it to cook on anymore, but I can use it to burn wood. It was my fault and a sad lesson.
I got this same gas grill it cooks too hot even with gas turned all the way down it flames up very often while cooking. i wish there was a way to lift the food higher from the grill grates to slow to cooking bc it burns food
I had brought this one in a liquidation deal but unfortunately I couldn't find any regulator with it and I cannot return it. I am trying to buy that regulator can you help me with the right specs?
I used to have one of these back in the oil field days when I used to haul Sand sometimes the well will go out for about 2 to 6 hours which was insane.. so I went ahead and got me one of these propane grills at first I liked it but in the end I noticed that it could also be dangerous. For like example grease touching fire can cause it to rise up even on low temperature or can explode so I decided to go back with wood wood charcoal or regular charcoal instead. yes it does take a little time but I'm going to say maybe 15 minutes max if you use the wood charcoal or regular charcoal that way at the end of the day you can just throw your charcoal away with these propane grills I almost cried because the grease from the meats will leave the burner plates looking all horrific but hey everybody has different opinions. I still use propane for my fire torque to start my barbecue smoker and I have 100 lb propane tank connected to my flat top grill and yes I feel better using the iron flat top with the propane burners underneath it that way grease won't have to touch the fire..
Love mine! Like you, we use it for the lake because I was getting tired of sandwiches and PB&J. It’s small and easy to carry. The look other families give you when you are grilling up hamburgers and dogs for your family is priceless! 😂 Not the greatest craftsmanship but as long as you take care of it it will take care of you! 🍔🌭🤤
I bought one and took those flimsy legs off and screwed it to 2 boards and used clamps to mount it to a picnic table. I took the grill off and bought a cast iron griddle at walmart. You don't have to watch it as close and the food tastes better after you get the griddle seasoned real nice!
Question: Why the holes in the pipe leading from the regulator to the grill? Mine has a large square opening with a little shield over it. It works great but I never understood this. Is it needed to mix air in with the butane? Great video and I agree.
Cool video, I just purchased one out of the blue seen it at Walmart and purchased it, i will be using it on weekend adventures. i figured propane be better then a charcoal one. 1st time watching your channel but enjoyed your video.
I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible. You probably just need an adapter. As long as you use the included regulator I would think you should be fine.
yes I am considering this grill as well the same manufacturer sells the adapter hose as well www.walmart.com/ip/Expert-Grill-4-Hose-Adapter-Kit/311760228
I didn't time how long my bottle lasted, but I did roughly calculate in my head, and that number does not surprise me at all. I was thinking, ok this will be the last use on this bottle, and then I used it 2 or 3 more times after that.
Nice video guy's, Thanks. You guy's should consider upgrading to a 5 pound propane tank, its more expensive compared to the green coleman canisters, but it pays it self long term, especially if your out grilling every weekend, it only cost me around 2$ to refill it with 1.4 gallons of propane, + it helps keep less trash in landfills and it's very small and compact compared to the 20 lbs tanks. Thanks for making this cool review.
Just bought and assembled it..the regulator says “push”...do you push it down to start the gas flowing? I read the manual and can’t find anything explaining the “push” button.
Yes, you have to push down and turn the knob. The knob locks to keep it from accidentally turning on. You need to push down and then turn past the lock point. Once it’s on you can adjust the flame as necessary by turning the knob
The lid sits on top of the grill while grilling but it is not fastened down in any way. When in transport mode the legs rotate up and hold the lid in place.
How is the flame for u guys? Because i just bought one took it to the park for a picnic and the flame is real low for me even on the highest position and the wind kept turning it off.
Hi, I just bought a similar grill and the propane sputters and keeps going out. At one point, it stayed lit but actually BLEW the lid right off when I was doing the initial 15 minute burn off. Any ideas what’s wrong and how can I fix this? Thank you.
I cannot say for sure but it sounds like you might have a bad pressure regulator. On my grill this is the round part that the propane tank screws into.
Holding up GREAT! I wouldn't say we use it hard, but we do use it consistently through the summer months. We are always careful to clean it after use, and it is hardly showing any signs of wear so far.
It doesn’t have a built in lighter. You still need to turn the gas on (you should hear it hissing) and then hold a lighter near the gas ports inside the grill.
Has anyone seen the videos of ppl grilling in silver roasting pans. Put charcoal on the bottom and a grill line( dollar store) on top of the pan . Light your coals AND GRILL.
Absolutely! Hopefully we can throw some fresh venison steaks on there this fall. I got the shirt at a recent saddle hunter meet up I attended. Unfortunate, the graphic is already peeling off.
I felt this was a very very poor video. I don't really care what you're cooking on it and why it's so great to told around with you etc. What I wanted to know was how does it work as far as how do you put the cylinder on it and get it lit get it moving.
Thanks for your feedback. I assumed most people are smart enough to figure it out how to use it. If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to try to answer your questions.
what a prick comment....I bought one of these and the instruction manual is beyond sufficient to get one started. Hope your luck improved concerning using the grill.
Am I the only one here that noticed that, if this grill has actually been USED, it ain't been much? The burner covers haven't changed at all. Grill, spotless. Guys?

Love how she gave her opinion too
She doesn’t come on camera often, but she really wanted to give here take on this grill...she’s definitely enjoyed it.
Thank you so much! I needed to see more of the size of this grill and you did just that! Thanks again.
Glad I could help!

Great to hear about the longevity of your grill. We’re going into the second season with ours.
Is it easy to clean?

I bought the 1lb to 20 lb propane adapter to stick the big cylinders to this grill. Does last a really long time with the 20 lb connected to it.
I bet, I have been amazed at how long the 1lb bottles last.
Good video, I just bought this grill yesterday and I’m looking forward to using it on camping trips
Hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed ours!
Help!!! While cooking hamburgers, fires kept coming up. Can this be prevented?
Great video, I love to see product reviews!! And the family content.
Thanks as always Paul.

Thank you for your videos..I really enjoy the effort you put in. Keep up the good work...
Glad you enjoy the videos! Thanks for your kind comment!
Great video, We just purchased this grill for our boat, and we love it.
Thanks James. We take ours on the boat frequently and we love it as well.

Just bought this for $15. Didn't no how to ise the propane. Thanks for the video.
I still have a grill that is similar to this review.....must be like 10yrs since I bought it and still going.
Good to hear it’s still going after all these years?!
I need to find a spare regulator, any ideas? Regulator on mines shot out and has bent and is inoperable now....
A propane supply company may be able to help you, but honestly for the price of the grill you are probably better off just replacing the grill
@@TheBudgetSportsman i rrally like it, as a result, im just going to fix it up dont need spare parts.

What a team work! Thanks guys. Enjoy your grilling
Thank you very much!
Mine didn’t last a year. I’d say to only use it when you need to and use your main grill when at home.
Wow, you must have used it hard. Ours is still going strong after several years.
Are the propane tanks dangerous? Where do you store them?
I store a tank inside the grill when not in use. Really shouldn’t be much danger if you don’t do stupid stuff with them.
Thanks for the review.
My pleasure!
Just keep an old lighter with the grill- it doesn't need any butane left in the lighter- you just need the spark to light the grill.
Good Tip. Thanks
Is it easy to clean?
Does your regulator work? Ours does not lower or higher the flame?
Yes it does
Question: Why the holes in the pipe leading from the regulator to the grill? Mine has a large square opening with a little shield over it. It works great but I never understood this. Is it needed to mix air in with the butane? Great video and I agree.
Have you had any issues with the paint melting? Saw a few reviews mentioning that but rare. Nice video.
No, we haven’t seen that issue at all.
One of the better reviews. Well presented. I watched because I just purchased a mini grill like that and I feel good about it. Thanks!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.
You can even store the extra propane inside the grill when you’re cooking on it.
We store ours inside for transportation. I’m not sure about putting inside while cooking 😂
Thanks for the guide! Can i take the tank off even if it still has propane in it, or do i have to leave it on until it runs off?
You can take the tank off the tank has an auto sealing valve in the top.
Just got one of these at Walmart. Price said it was $45 but when I scanned it… it was only $15! I had to buy it for the small getaways
Great buy!
Good review!! 😊

Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video!
I got one for indoor use BUT I use it when I open all the windows and have a fan blowing the heat out the window. Really careful
During a burn ban you are only allowed gas grills. So propane grills are a must.
Looks like a good inexpensive option. The igniter would be nice. Thanks for sharing your experience Nathan 👍
Thanks for watching!!
I have this grill overall it's outstanding..
what kind of grille tongs are you using
I do not know the name. I believe we got them at Bed Bath and Beyond when we got married. I can't find the same set on their website anymore.
@@TheBudgetSportsman dang thanks for trying though. love the video bought this grill because of it.
Where does the grease go? Do you need a pan underneath to catch it?
It just falls to the bottom and we clean it out after we are done cooking.
I have one, is it possible to run a hose and hook up to a 20 pound tank?
I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible. You probably just need an adapter. As long as you use the included regulator I would think you should be fine.
yes I am considering this grill as well the same manufacturer sells the adapter hose as well www.walmart.com/ip/Expert-Grill-4-Hose-Adapter-Kit/311760228
This is helpful. I just found this on Walmart's site, and wanted to get a real review on it.
We’re still happy. We probably don’t use it as much as some folks but it’s holding up just fine.
Nice review. Someone posted a video about how long a 1lb coleman will last. He set it on med and it lasted 3hr 45min....not too shabby.

Can the lid stay attached when grilling?
The lid sits on top of the grill while grilling but it is not fastened down in any way. When in transport mode the legs rotate up and hold the lid in place.
What about cleaning the grill?
Not sure what you want to know. I don’t enjoy cleaning any grill. This one is no exception, but it’s not particularly hard.
Nice little grill !!
How is the flame for u guys? Because i just bought one took it to the park for a picnic and the flame is real low for me even on the highest position and the wind kept turning it off.

Always shake off all marinade and blot dry with paper towel to prevent burning a big mess. You want to grill not burn and steam your food.
I bought the 60 dollar one
Cool, I’m not familiar with that one...do you like it?
I have another brand that has a hinged lid and I mounted a spark igniter on mine. Much better than this one.

Horrible product. Burned with one stake. The paint and everything
I have one of these grill .I have a cord to transfer it into a 20 pound gas tank I wonder will it work ?
I would think it would as long as you are using the original regulator or get a proper replacement.
