Hey this is Jimmy Bunker and thank you for visiting my shop! I appreciate you checking out our extra stiff shafts! Thanks for mentioning cougar golf, we are looking for more participants in our next shoot at Holly Valley and Suzette Mountains!
Just bought a sub 70 putter. Super quality, even better price for the craftmanship. Came with the weight kit, and a hand written note from the owner. Putter has great weight to it. Very happy with the purchase.
Love the way Jon just strolls up to every putt and pretty much nails the line of every one. 👏👏 World’s greatest putter and Jon could make a fortune hustling at minigolf courses. I was just thinking about the two of you owning that place or something like it just before you said it. 😀
Got fitted the other week for sub 70 irons. They should arrive tomorrow and I can’t wait. I was there trying putters and they all felt really good, kicking myself for not getting one. Guess I’ll go back….great video as always.
That last putt was sick great job! I never even heard of that putter until now. What a cool setup they have in Indianapolis.. that would be a dream to own a golf shop with a par 3 course and a driving range. Thanks again for the great entertainment look forward to the next one. Have a nice vacation
Great video as always Jon and Ashley! Never would have thought I would have a personal nostalgia moment watching Stacked Golf. Bunker Run Brings back the memories of thinning to winning a sand wedge into the road on the 1st hole and having to do my first event insurance claim after moving in Greenwood a week ago. Only lived there a year. Loved the food, loved the golf and 3 Play It Again Sports and the PGA Tour Superstore in the Indy area.
Dang I knew I loved you guys when I heard about your Indy roots. So glad to see you guys in my hometown!!! Played orchard/bunker run many times, especially at night ( front 9 only) growing up. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. Being a Floridian now I don’t get to play there anymore, so thank you for bringing a piece of my home back to me! Love the videos!
Cougar Golf Clubs....I live in a Mountain suburb of Los Angeles. Roger Dunn was a friend of my uncle's. We went one day to North Hollywood, and i was looking at a new set of Lynx Predators. Roger gave me a full set of Cougar clubs, bag, balls, putter, tees, EVERYTHING, clothes. For $100.00, if i agreed to take lessons at Whitsett Golf course, as it was called back in 1982 through the store pro. Nels Semling was my teacher. Best teacher, and best stroke I have ever seen to this day, for a 70 year old man, -5 or liwer all day. Excellent teacher, and his lessons hold up to this day. It is so nice to be able to play scratch golf. Absolutely loved the last auction. Watched the whole thing with the neighbors, it is so funny! Thats a very good thing! LETS GO ASHLEY! YOU, are the Sweetest social media influencer/celebrity around! Note:Roger personally told me that they were his personal or signature line at the time. A month later i bought the Lynx Predators. Loved them, still have the predators, re gripped, stoll love them. Love my Ping 430's better in every way. Makes scratch golf too easy....Not really, but way better then the best clubs from 1982, even my Ping Eye 2's which i still have and love too.
Gotta get me one of those putters if Jon makes putts and Ash misses.... say it ain't so, Ash! When you're building your dream store, range, and par 3, don't forget to add space for the museum - and it must have audio/video at each display where Jon explains about the history of the clubs. I want to be at the ribbon cutting!!! Love the channel - travel safe.
1:37 - I remember Cougar! In fact, my first set of irons back in the mid 90’s were Cougars. Knowing what I know now I would have kept them for my collection. 😢
Recently picked up a Sub 70 002 putter to replace my long time Ping Scottsdale TR and it was such great choice. Got to try it side by side with the Phantom 5x and Golo and it was almost a no brainer to pick it up given its half the price and performs the same if not better than the Scotty.
Cougar Golf was Bullet Golf's low end stuff back in the early-mid '90s. My first name brand set was the cheapest set that Golf Magazine reviewed in their Clubtest in 94 or 95 I believe in the Cougar Miracle (the woods weren't great, and it took a full season to adapt to the irons, since I went from steel shaft regular flex to steel shaft uniflex).
I truly enjoy watching your videos. I rarely watch other video's all the way through, even if they are only 3 min's long! now I find myself Re-watching your's... Your interaction with other's is, simply stated, Honest and real. I really like being informed about the different styles of clubs and the changes/improvements over the years. What I find most rewarding, is watching you guys play with the day's treasures! Story: A squirrel, apparently overcome with chicken envy, decided he needed to be on the other side of the road NOW! Darting here and there and suddenly going for broke zipped out in front of me, so close that I wasn't able to see if he made it... until... a flashing leap of grey fur sprang up a tree, looked at me, flicking it's tail... staring me down! I couldn't help myself... it just came out... NATURE! Loving what you do. keep it up, thanks!
Cougar Golf of Salt Lake City, Utah. Forgotten now, but 30 years ago they invented the giant head multi material component driver. They called it the Zero Wood. It had a carbon body, titanium face, and 45 inch shaft.
Cougar was in the mix through the 80’s and 90’s. I remember them kind of knocking of Taylor Made. Cougar, Bullet, and Pinseaker, we’re decent second tear equipment companies The fact that shop is prominently displaying the PowerBilt logo is incredible. It’s frozen in time from 35 years ago. And I love it
Cougar Golf Clubs are quite popular in Australia... and they are a component manufacturer company that custom fits their clubs to the individual! It's been a while since I have seen anyone playing with their clubs...but I would mind trying one of their 7 irons on a driving range and compare them to my current irons.
Jon has found his new WITB putter. My best friend from Florida bought a place like you described in Northern Ohio and loves giving lessons, fitting, working on clubs and running the range and par 3 (except in winter)
I got a Cougar putter for Christmas back in 1983. I still have it in the basement somewhere - it’s in need of a repaint/refinish. It was a standard mallet style putter.
So cool you went to this place! I used to go to this store years ago. My buddies and I would play that par 3 course and hit balls on the range after shopping for clubs.
You know! You two have always made me smile or laugh! I always want to go play golf after I see one of your videos. I'd love to try out those under 70's irons. I used to play my Mizuno P33's. I've been sluffing off. So I use my Comp EZ Mizuno's There pretty old now. I'd like to try some of the new technology clubs. Thanks again for your video!
That Srixon bag is the 2022 Masters colorway, the gold zippers give it away. If you open the pockets you’ll also see an azalea pattern in them. I rock that exact bag when walking, and an Ogio silencer bag when riding.
Sub 70 are hugely underrated. I love my 659CB irons. For info, I got a hat, a hot dog and a beer when I saw the Yankees play the Orioles in May. Back next year to ride the Cyclone 🤓
That's place was really awesome. Not sure, what year's cougar golf was out, I want to say it was late 80s or early 90s. I could be wrong, but I remember seeing them. Great video. Keep up the great work. Fairways and greens!
My brother and I love your videos and your channel. You helped us start collecting clubs of our own a little bit. We do have one of your biggest grails if you are interested in purchasing it. We recently bought a mint nike vapor flex 440 driver. Let us know if you are interested at all. Keep up the great work!
Cougar a big lower end company in the 1980's,early 90's. Sold a lot. Confidence was also a higher end maker of clubs and had many pros using their irons in the 70's amd 80's. Places like Edwin watts, larry's Golf in NY sold a lot of their stuff.
11:40 - If you build it, we will come! ... Just make sure when you decide on a property you leave space for the eventual putt-putt course (es), trout pond (s), and restaurant :)
I added extra weight to the rear end of a $79 value Ping Scottsdale steel putter and needed only eleven putts for nine holes: longest was 20 feet, shortest two feet. Anything less than nine feet was close to automatic!
I know exactly where that is. Years ago that place was a Supreme Golf store and they sold Cougar. I bought my clubs from a different store. This place is on my radar probably will go there Thursday or Friday.
The cougar line dated back to the early 80s. Had a set of metal woods. I caved the face in on the driver. Also I’ll 30 minutes from Indy. Where are you at? Just got back from Pine Woods golf course in Spencer. Thanks to you guys
I had a set of LYNX Parallax coppers and a Set of the Black Cats that Freddie Couples used to play back in the day!! Nice irons !!! Has a set of Yonex ADX 100's too ! Phil the Thrill played them years ago also !!!
I was given a full set of cougar clubs from my grandfather 1-9 iron 1,3,5 driver p wedge sand wedge and putter. I put the drivers up because the heads are wood.
Cougar Golf is the signature brand for Roger Dunn Golf shops on the west coast. They are now owned by Worldwide Golf Shops which also owns Edwin Watts & many others. FYI.
Welcome to Indiana! I would be interested in hearing your thoughts and opinions on a handful of different irons that high handicap/New players could use to get them into the sport. I have a friend who loves to play and is using an old set of my hand - me - downs that just arent cutting it. it would be cool to have something i could point him to that's a budget friendly set of irons for newer players.
Have y'all ever checked out 2nd Swing golf for Scotty Cameron's they have lots of good used ones on line and in stores and they keep up with the inventory might be able to find a location near you.
I think Below 70 should be a sponsor. I’ve been to their website and searched online for a used one. I was considering a Squareback 2 but now I gotta try out this one. Thanks y’all!
You two have so much more golf talent that you give yourself credit for. A 230 yard FOUR IRON? You need to be playing with Good-Good LOL. Great video lots of great stuff you guys find and so much that I bet you WISH you could take with you too. Take care
Sub 70 is legit. I have the 001putter. It's a little softer off of the face than I would like, but it's great on smooth greens. Also, the JB wedges that they have are second to none considering price point.
1992 my dad bought me a set of Cougar clubs. They were Titleist knockoffs. The irons were decent but the metal woods were trash. Small heads and so hard to hit. I kept my persimmon woods in the bag.
Hey this is Jimmy Bunker and thank you for visiting my shop! I appreciate you checking out our extra stiff shafts! Thanks for mentioning cougar golf, we are looking for more participants in our next shoot at Holly Valley and Suzette Mountains!
@bidenisking lol great screen name ;P
Just bought a sub 70 putter. Super quality, even better price for the craftmanship. Came with the weight kit, and a hand written note from the owner. Putter has great weight to it. Very happy with the purchase.
Jon's like a dog in a park full of squirrels and it's awesome.
It’s hard to keep up when I’m filming him 😂
@@StackedGolf it's awesome seeing him get so excited. We appreciate your efforts!
I spit out my drink so hard laughing at your comment lol 😂
Ashley peaking at the top of her game on this one.
I was headed to type something similar....awesome.
That is one 'broken' putter...perhaps you can describe the Stacked Golf store / range / par 3 as a broken club sanctuary?
Love the way Jon just strolls up to every putt and pretty much nails the line of every one. 👏👏 World’s greatest putter and Jon could make a fortune hustling at minigolf courses. I was just thinking about the two of you owning that place or something like it just before you said it. 😀

Yes, I want Stacked Golf to have a golf second hand shop, range, and par 3 course!

I have the sub 70 double wide blade (not the ta3) and absolutely love it! Threw on a Maltby pure track shaft and it is money now.

I’m amazed how many clubs Jon knows! 🤯 This man can just see a club and know it’s history and value in a moment!

A stacked golf used club store and par 3 course would be awesome! It would definitely go on my bucket list of places to go!
Ohhh boy! You guys are back in Indiana?! I REALLY hope to see a Fried Eggs Golf collab at Beverly's Hills!
you guys are fantastic! Enjoy the banter and my goodness all the clubs!! Keep em coming!
So glad I clicked on this I live in Indy and been looking forr a decent shop that's not a big box store. Keep up the great work!!!
The build quality of the sub 70 putters is as good as a scottie camerons in my opinion. Their wedges look really good too
Their TA3 wedges are fantastic
Jon has found his new WITB putter. My best friend from
Florida bought a place like you described in Northern Ohio and loves giving lessons, fitting, working on clubs and running the range and par 3 (except in winter)
You two are so much and there could be the Champion’s Tour down the road, John. Never give up on a dream

Aweosme finds, even better insight into some older stuff. Jon hitting some prime putts!!!
How do you find all these places. 🤔 Jon gets so excited at new golf stores. So fun to watch.😊
So great to see all these different locations!
My brother and I love your videos and your channel. You helped us start collecting clubs of our own a little bit. We do have one of your biggest grails if you are interested in purchasing it. “I was just trying to keep up with your squirrel effect.” 😂😂😂
I would love to see an actual stacked golf venue!!
I play a full bag of thr Sub70s. That putter is a different hozel on a 005 wide blade. The same one I play. Love they putter!!
They get good reviews
Ashley looking great in the green top!
Cougar golf was the Roger Dunn Golf Shops in-house club brand. Love your videos Jon and Ash
The old bullseye putter is a standard. Great feel and time tested design. Some of the longest putts I ever made was with a bullseye.
I added extra weight to the rear end of a $79 value Ping Scottsdale steel putter and needed only eleven putts for nine holes: longest was 20 feet, shortest two feet. Anything less than nine feet was close to automatic!
Ping Craz-E too putter

That last put Jon!... chef's kiss 🤌
Pretty cool. My son lives in greenwood trying to get him into golf went to play it again for some used x-14s.
Great video. Possibly the best on the channel yet 👏👏
Last year I flew to Martinsville with my son for deer hunting (we're from Alaska). We'll be back this November, I might have to check this place out.
Been looking for an oversized Scotty putter grip only, but cannot find one. Any suggestions?
The cougar line dated back to the early 80s. Had a set of metal woods. I caved the face in on the driver. Also I’ll 30 minutes from Indy. Where are you at? Just got back from Pine Woods golf course in Spencer. Thanks to you guys
Such a fun course! Hope you liked it 😎
Would love to see you guys get a place like that. ❤
Jon’s encyclopaedic knowledge is very impressive
Love the content guys! Cannot wait to see what you guys have in store for the future!
Here in the Uk we have so few stores like this! Just so unfair lol
My brother lives in Columbus, IN. We used to drive through Greenwood, IN when we went to visit him. Had no idea that was there.
Right on you two. What a good video. I was excited with you.
I had a set of LYNX Parallax coppers and a Set of the Black Cats that Freddie Couples used to play back in the day!! Nice irons !!!
Has a set of Yonex ADX 100's too ! Phil the Thrill played them years ago also !!!
Love seeing the Sub70! I’ve been thinking about buying that exact putter.
I was given a full set of cougar clubs from my grandfather 1-9 iron 1,3,5 driver p wedge sand wedge and putter. I put the drivers up because the heads are wood.
The flat stick was on FIRE!! WTG Jon!!
Would love to know more about the ping putters. Just got an anser 4 that is basically brand new and has a stroke fitting

Cougar Golf is the signature brand for Roger Dunn Golf shops on the west coast. They are now owned by Worldwide Golf Shops which also owns Edwin Watts & many others. FYI.
You two are always fun to watch!
Ashley...you need to limit how much coffee Jon can have. He is way too excited! Ha, keep up the great work!

Sub 70 makes some great and easy to hit irons 👍 Also, older ping G series irons will do the trick
Man you guys are making me want to take a little golf road trip, great putting too!
Have y'all ever checked out 2nd Swing golf for Scotty Cameron's they have lots of good used ones on line and in stores and they keep up with the inventory
might be able to find a location near you.
Can’t believe Jon didn’t mention Matt Fitzpatrick using the S55s in his recent US Open win. Oldies but still goodies.
Gotta love bent greens in the summer! Whenever I see QuadPros i think of David Toms, he played those forever also.
Y'all are so much fun to watch!
NOT FIRST!!!!!! would love to get a scotty for my daughter for her senior year season
Hey when is the next sale for golf clubs ?? I want to help and support you guys 🎉💜

Love the videos I've played that part 3 a lot bunker runs a lot of fun. Those guys are very nice. Just go high school down the road
Been to Orchard many times. Still play there occasionally to get a little iron practice. I actually broke a demo club at that shop in the grip
I think Below 70 should be a sponsor. I’ve been to their website and searched online for a used one. I was considering a Squareback 2 but now I gotta try out this one. Thanks y’all!
You guys are TOO COOL! Love it when you take it to the course.
You can get that putter new for 179. Free shipping. And no tax. Cant beat SUB 70. Good deal for 150.
Come to the north side of Indy there's a Golf Galaxy, PGA Superstore, and Play It Again Sports all within like 15 minutes of each other!
I live a couple miles away from there. Glad your in Indiana. Love your videos…
You two have so much more golf talent that you give yourself credit for. A 230 yard FOUR IRON? You need to be playing with Good-Good LOL. Great video lots of great stuff you guys find and so much that I bet you WISH you could take with you too. Take care

Great job! Keep the videos coming!
So cool to see yall going to a store that I live near!
@Stacked Golf if you’re still in Indiana I have a Scotty that you could add to the collection!
Sub 70 is legit. I have the 001putter. It's a little softer off of the face than I would like, but it's great on smooth greens. Also, the JB wedges that they have are second to none considering price point.
Oh my they’re on the way to see Randy and Scuba Steve 👏👏👏
I use to live in Greenwood! Are you still in Indiana? U should visit the golf galaxy and pga superstore in Castleton!
Hey! This is my “home course”. Closest course to me. Use their range all the time and great when you don’t have time to play a full 18.
I played Cougar golf clubs in middle school and early high school. They were a budget brand that performed well.
1992 my dad bought me a set of Cougar clubs. They were Titleist knockoffs. The irons were decent but the metal woods were trash. Small heads and so hard to hit. I kept my persimmon woods in the bag.
