Horrible of course bc most of her kids died and the heartache she endured must've been unbearable, but a relief bc taking care of that many kids would've been the worst job ever, and I'm shocked she was even able to take care of 17 babies.

There's another interesting detail to the story of Leonarda: to defend her son Giuseppe, she claimed to be the only one to know the procedure to transform human fat into soap and went on demonstrating it in the court producing soap out of a piece of a body (I'm not sure if it was a dog or a human unknown body, tbh). That's the very gruesome part of the story 😝

Bilas Maharana he was the grossest one, when police arrived at his home they found faces of women sewn together, bowls made from human skulls, skulls for his bedposts, a mummified skull of death, a box of salted vulvas, lips on a string, shin bones, human noses, and perhaps the most disgusting sight, a woman hung upside down, dressed out (basically gutted, which means had no organs), a slit running from the anus to the chest, no throat or head. There are more things i didnt mention, look up a documentary for more details
The Toybox Killer is the one who gives me chills. I've watched many movies/videos/podcasts about serial killers, and nothing makes my stomach knot like that guy and his family. No gruesome human parts arts-and-crafts projects, but some really messed up stuff while the victims were alive to endure it.

Her insanity wasn't unfounded, and she respected her victims greatly, admitting that they didn't deserve death and putting their bodies to good use. She was just (in her eyes) protecting her family. *Worthy of sympathy, in my opinion.*
You forgot to mention that the judges didn’t believe what she said she had done so she proved it by making cakes and soap out of a homeless corpse’s body in front of them. I think this is a creepy fact. Good job, btw!

This reminds me of the people in the Justice Pao series who killed a guy and used his remains to make a ceramic bowl. His spirit then came back to get justice for himself. I truly wonder if any of these victims came back to haunt her? Thank goodness I am not eating now or I would get sick....I think she is evil although I do sympathize with her, however, just because you live a tragic life does not mean that you should become bad and evil. There are many people who live tragic and sad lives but still end up having a happy and successful life in spite of all the pain and tragedies they endured. Therefore, you truly wonder if she deserves sympathy for all of the bad deeds that she had committed.
