They KILLED it on killing voice! They make it look so easy. the only thing that would make this better would be to see Kai here too. But I saw Sehun stepping in. Still felt so good watching them together. I've played this on repeat almost all day. SO GOOD! Let's GOOOO EXO! 💜

Chen is very strong and xiuminnn! Xiumin vocal is the backbone of the exo songs 😭 Wow the harmony of exo is really great! Cream Soda live is really what I wanted and I am very satisfied because they sing like in the mv and even better and perfect!

I have honestly come to the conclusion that EXO is my ULT group as well lol. Makes me feel better they are in my age group 😂😂 This just made me so happy. Been an EXOL for years, I listen to them on a daily basis, I've watched their multiple concerts, I've heard thier voices live several times BUT I'm still in awe every frikin time like it's like my first time listening to them. This is why it's impossible for me to love other groups like I love EXO.
They were just in their element. They are too happy singing live. They honestly grew up/ trained to do these kinds of shows. EXO members are confident with their own vocals and their members'. They know how good each other's vocals, they are not even nervous.
I think we all started crying at either sing for you and bawled throughout Miracles in December or completely lost it at MOD 😂 I was crying so hard that I needed to pause and come back after a few minutes lmfao

i love how it showcases how important xiumin's vocals are to their songs, but honestly all of their voices are so important. baekhyun also said they did this in 1 take which is even more wild to me, no one beats exo when it comes to vocals imo

My personal favorite out of all their origin stories is Chen's and Baekhyun's. They met during their audition for SM and they wished each other good luck only to find out later on that they both passed said audition. Plus, they both trained less than a year before debuting into EXO. Truth be told, the only good thing SM has done for EXO is choosing their lineup as it would prove to be one of the most powerful line ups in Kpop.
Also, before that, Chen's vocal teacher suggested he auditions for SM, Chen wasn't interested in Kpop until he heard one of Shinee's songs and thought that they sang well. For Baekhyun, I'm pretty sure they casted him after they heard him sing at his school, and Baekhyun was suspicious of the lady that approached him, he thought it was a scam or something at first since others had also approached him before lol, he was also already preparing for university at that point
Sehun, Suho, Lay, and Chanyeol were casted on the street by a SM casting director
Kyungsoo was casted after winning a local singing competition
Xiumin won 2nd place on SM singing contest and was casted the same year
Kai auditioned in SM after his dad promised him Nintendo

About their casting: Chanyeol was casted because he participated in a modeling competition and he was offered to be a trainee for a band SM was putting together but then it got canceled so they trained him to be an idol. Baekhyun auditioned and wasn't accepted but then he was scouted while he was singing in a room in his college. Kai was doing ballet and his parents pushed him to audition promising him to buy him a game he wanted, Suho and Sehun were casted in the street. Xiumin auditioned for JYP and got rejected then he went to a contest with a friend and got casted. Lay appeared on tv when he was a kid so SM watched it and offered him to be a trainee. Chen also auditioned at the same time Baekhyun was discovered. And Kyungsoo won a street competition and got noticed by SM.
Literally Chen came over and said "enjoy ordinary humans"

25:00 the iconic casting of Sehun running for 30mins because of SM staff hahaha. His parents told him not to talk to strangers so he run before SM staff gives him a calling card. He was scouted on the streets when he was only 12 years old

EXO really hits different. In some way, they were most of our first loves. The memories their songs brings is just magical. A lot of us might be stanning other groups now but we will always come back to EXO.

I think one of the reason's EXO ended up with so many great vocals in one group is because of EXO-K and EXO-M. Each 6 member group had to be able to sing EXO's songs alone. But, as 6 every member has to contribute to the sound (sing choruses and backing vocals), so there couldn't be any non-singing members. Then, when you put them together as 12, they have twice as many main and lead vocalists as other groups, with the remaining members also being vocalist and adding support. Essentially they ended up being structured like 1 group made by combining two groups with great vocals.
When you both love the reactor and the one being reacted to.
This is how EXO's music moves us and touches us. Truly wonderful artists.

We were not ready for this, I’ve never been this emotional for a killing voice, the roller coaster of emotions with this one video was just crazy.
One thing about EXO is that they always gives us rollercoaster moments. It's very common for us EXO-L to feel excited and then crying seconds after 😭😭👍🏻
As a phixo (Filipino EXO-L) and a fan of them way back in my elementary years up until 3rd year college now, this reaction genuinely made me happy because you voiced out the things that made me a fan of them. It's true that since early childhood we sing on the top of our lungs HAHAHAHHA so I really appreciate their vocals, thus, making it hard for me to stan other groups because literally, no one can beat their vocals, they set up the pedestal way too high!!

That’s why I auditioned in the first place.” But he was too young at that time. He joined SM officially after he won best dancer in SM's Best Teen contest before. So he trained for at least 5 years. 👏🏻
BAEKHYUN and CHEN were the last members added. They joined the debut group (EXO) just 3 months after they entered SM. Then trained for another 8 months before debut. So in total, only almost a year! They're THAT amazing!! ❤
I was like Kuya Jeff when I watched EXO's Killing Voice last night. I was dancing and singing along like crazy, then suddenly cried, then danced again with tears in my eyes, then ugly tearing up again, then back to singing and dancing along with them. I missed them so badly. I hope there's Part 2 of them in Killing Voice with Kai and Lay.
For Exo’s origins:
Lay described it as it basically being a SM produce 101. They were around a hundert trainees at first and then every week they would cut people until they were left with 6 Korean boys for the Korean unit and 4 Chinese + 2 Koreans for the Chinese Unit
