  • Two households drowning in clutter are given some help by experts Curtis Dowling, Joanna Riley and Marianne Cammack to make some space and raise some cash as well.
Today they meet an artist from London who has filled his house with mementoes from his travels and a couple from Lancashire whose collections of toys and costumes have taken over their home.

Curtis is the WORST salesman I've ever seen. He'd give a man dying of thirst a discount!

How did Curtis ever get on this show or any show, he must know somebody or somebody owed him a favor? If he wasn't so tall he would live in the Land of Oz and eat marshmallow pie all day.

I don’t know if he’s the worst but I don’t understand why on Earth he doesn’t sell MORE stuff. He’s in houses full of stuff and usually only takes a few items to sell. I’d love to see him take people to a car boot sale, a booth in an antique market or help people list stuff online because most of these people need the money.

Cleaning the house is one thing but did they fix his hoarding problem? Because he’s 100% just going to do it again.

Much prefer this show compared to the American one. Much kinder and gentler and live to everyone happy and not traumatised

I can say, good episode. I think, a hoarding is the implication of childhood, or trauma. When i was a kid, in our family was not wealthy. We have not a lot of clothes. My grandmom sewing them to bigger, when i growing, and clothes was too small. It was quite shy´d, in the school. When i growing to about 11-12 year age. situations will changes and i get money from dad, and i buy clothes, when i need them. Dad was kind person. In adult i have "a little hoarding feature".( O my poor England writing.)

I would like to see you take a severe hoarder into another hoarders house and ask them is this the way to live but nobody even in the United states will do this what would a hoarder say to another hoarder?

I’m always so frustrated with how little they sell! I would make thousands for those people or at least teach them how to do it themselves. I also feel like they don’t help them finish the project. They need to organise the stuff they do keep and make the places look great in order to inspire them to keep it clear. And last but not least THERAPY, why aren’t they getting any therapy? Hoarding is a mental disorder and they won’t be able to stop without a big change.

Most of the hoarders are quite elderly. Yes they get rid of some stuff but there is always so much left. Are they not aware that whoever inherits it had a lot to do to get rid of the stuff. Nobody wants the clutter.

I really find the constant cuts/ jumping from one pic to the next like a bad PowerPoint presentation to be annoying…it takes away from their stories.

Don't be too hard on Curtis ya'all! It's easy to be judgemental when you have all the time in the world. Curtis probably has a limited amount of time and probably also knows what is reasonable.

FILTH: I HOPE THE PRODUCERS OF THE SHOW are not making new episodes. It's like eating toast without butter and chocolate milk without sugar. We want to see hoarders with useless debris in the yard and stacked on top of the car
