Undoubtedly, definitely, the Master Craftsman demonstrated his skills, talent, knowledge, professionalism, dedication, leadership, experience, expertise, and most importantly, attention to minute details.
Thanks! Nice close-ups of the work, good video quality, would like to see you counting the wires that make one bundle. Would like an electrical drawing. How is the direction of the motor determined? I expected to see jumpers on the control box.
I'm Italian. Show them things they always do all over the world as if it were a miracle. My grandfather did it without having to tell the world about it as if it were an exceptional thing.
Good thing he has his safety slides on! We all definitely know the importance of all our safety gear! He probably keeps them right next to his safety squints!
Several decades ago, I had the same job, repairing large horsepower motors. Although the technique of removing the copper from the stator varied from the video the job was essentially the same. Sandblasting the stator to clean it was a lot less violent to the metal than using a grinder. I suppose that these days the whole job is done by automation.
Not to sure about shorting the laminations together with a spot welder, sort of makes coating the laminations a waste of time to stop eddy currents. I generally ground out any shorts with a burr. 🤷♂
There, too, children are looking at their phones. The device where you strip the ends of the wires was nice. I hope it doesn't make you feel like you've eaten a lemon.
THE FIRST THING TO DO BEFORE STRIPPING THE MOTOR COILS IS TO CHECK THE CONNECTIONS THEN STRIP THE WINDINGS ,UNLESS THEY HAVE WOUND THE MOTOR BEFORE AND KNOW THE WINDING CONNECTIONS ,WHEN I WOUND MOTORS YEARS AGO THAT WAS THE FIRST THING TO DO
It’s not necessary to check the windings, when the motor is totally burned. What are you checking, when the coils are burned, enamel isolating each windings are shorted? Besides all that, these people are very intelligent and have performed rewinding the stator. Perhaps you don’t know the people of Vietnam, they are much more intelligent than people in west. Please do not use capital letters in a conversation. By doing so, it indicated that you are rude and dumb. Are you?

Its difficult to watch someone working without basic safety equipment such as safety boots and eye protection. It's not a question of if he will get injured but when and how often.
Yep. You noticed the arc damage to the laminations too. At 50 Hz, a few layers shorted together will not have excessive heating from Eddy currents. It could be the owner permitted higher currents to avoid "nuisance tripping. "
Some of those motors are housed at the bottom of a container and only have access to the front shaft. Everything is not front and center like in your world.
Freaken awesome. Great repair, good reuse and recycling. One reason communism is better than capitalism. The work they are doing is not profitable. But still important. That is precisely why this motor would have just been thrown on the scrap heap in the west. Where in Vietnam, it can see a new life. Better for the planet, better for humans, better for life.
He did such a great job, but for some reason he only used 1 liter of varnish for a 22 KVA motor))) and did not change the bearings...... This motor will not be reliable
Is anyone else not concerned about the horror pain cry in the background from that baby? That kid is obviously In severe distress. Next time your asses better tend to your kids.
These Vietnamese worker are not afraid of hard work good luck👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
The motor is good, it's like new again. You guys are really great.
Thankyou

Sincerely thank you very much. We will try to improve the shortcomings of the video. Hope you will always accompany us. thanks for your donate .
The direction is determined by the positive and negative lugs. 3 phase 2x1 .... change one single positive to a negative by switching them.
What a great effort. Congratulations. I hope you are earning the money you deserve after all your hard work.
thankyou

I thought I was the only one hearing the screaming kid 😮
A stop with a limiter will allow you to cut the film without markings and more accurately and many times faster.

This a demonstration of how to create value things from discarded scrap.
There is no place on earth would a motor that sized NOT be rewound and restored to service.

We here in the states have machines that do the windings instead by hand.!!!!!!!!!

Nobody in Germany could pay for this work😅😅
Thats from lack of proper motor protection .
And cooper coated aluminum wire.
It's shocking to see this guy work with no shoes on and on the floor...as if he does not know that tables exist for a reason
People in different parts of the world have different ways to do things; this guy is a real mechanic
He's working out of his home. He gets what he needs. He's used to working like that.
BTW: I note how he often used his bare feet to help "adjust" the windings.
The color of intestanse of the motor suspisually weird
