It's crazy to me how this series is still in that "niche" category amongst RPG fans. Hopefully Daybreak will remedy this problem once and for all. I'd love for this series to get the recognition it deserves.
How will it get the recognition it deserves when every Trails fan tells a newcomer to start from Sky FC. That’s incredibly daunting and intimidating. That’s why the series will continue to remain niche. It’s not newcomer friendly due to this. I’d say souls games are more newcomer friendly
The ending of FC really sticks with ya, huh? I think most people have that reaction of wanting to immediately jump into SC right after finishing it, lol. XD
Awsome cuz I’m currently playing Zero with Azure next and was curious about Reverie but was overwhelmed by adding to play Coldsteel 3 -4 , so this is great news.
The Legend of Heroes Trails Through DayBreak NIS America Released Date to the West Next Year July 31 2024 in summer time platforms PS4 PS5 Nintendo Switch
Does this game have a cliffhanger like Cold Steel 1 and 3? If so I might just wait until Daybreak 2 is released in English or if a discount becomes available
Im definitely going to play this if it comes to switch, im never going to play cold steel .. i was never picky about graphics but cold steel just looks horrendous, at least this looks kinda decent.
You do you but in that case at the very least watch all the story cutscenes from cold steel games (reverie included) because I imagine Kuro will have some parts that are relying on you knowing past events
@@GilgaMax305 I hated how people were saying that Cold Steel is a good starting point when it literally happens during the climax of Azure, spoiling you of some of Crossbell's biggest moments and twists

I just finished the first Trails in the Sky game 15 min ago. I might buy SC and start it tomorrow.

CS1 and 2 looks bad but they are still great games, Daybreak will most likely spoil the big endgame CS had
I mean to each their own. CS1 and 2 are kinda charming imo. The art style reminded me of persona 3/4. Besides the graphics aren’t THAT bad.

No. Play everything from the start. It's much more fulfilling.
Agreed. Just finished Reverie after playing though the whole series. God damn, was it worth it.

@@PoyoPoyomfsI said the game thing but it grew on me.
@@Perlavoine I beat the first cold steel and halfway through the second, but I should play the crossbell ones first?
100% achievement on all trails games with 0 death/escape/retry runs.
Can't wait for the localized version.
Ignore this fool . Play them all
@bensmith5288 No fool. The rest of the game looks bad AF. I'd rather play something better. Your advice is terrible.
