Great choices here! I just picked up Danganronpa Decadence not too long ago, I had regretted not grabbing it when it initially came out. Definitely happy to support that series over here as much as I can.
Pikmin 4 is peak, that’s one game I couldn’t recommend enough. Ni No Kuni 1 and 2 are great games. I personally really enjoyed Revenant Kingdom. The game still has the magic of White Witch, its biggest difference is the combat being more action oriented than real time turn based
I think your whole mindset to collecting is really great. It’s really easy to get addicted to it, but you seem patient and responsible and it’s inspiring to me who’s struggled with that in the past! I really need to save so I’ve calmed down my collecting quite a bit lol
great video, its always interesting hearing about what games someone still wants to pick up, and all your choices are 10/10 and overlap with a lot of things on my wishlist too actually. some other titles that i really want to add to my collection include: Persona 5 tactica - i loved p5r so much so this ones a no brainer Arcade fire - it just looks like such a charming VN with a lot of customisation options for your character and it goes for so cheap i should just bite the bullet on it FE Three houses - never played an FE game before but they've always looked interesting to me, and this one seems like the best starting point for someone like me who really enjoys persona Tokyo Mirage Sessions - especially because this one kind of hard to find, i really want to pick this one up soon because even though it definitely wasn't the crossover people were expecting, it still looks like a good time Sea of Sars - i played the demo for this and loved the artstyle and thought the gameplay was so fun, so now that there's a pre order for the physical it's even more on my radar and Xenoblade DE - everyone raves about this series (including you which is probably why it came to mind) so i really want to give it a go, and hopefully I'll fall in love with it too anyway, thank you for the entertaining video Alex :)
I'm not sure how difficult the physical versions are to find now these days but other than Ryza, Lydie and Suelle or Lulua are also great starting points for the Atelier series on the Switch. I personally started with Lydie and Suelle and loved it. After that I played Ryza 1 and then recently Lulua. Loved both!
Tip for Bravely Default II Physical. I have seen it at a lot of local Walmarts marked down on Clearance. Depends on Walmart for pricing but between $25-35. Based in ATL but might apply elsewhere
Definitely hope to see your harvest moon/story of seasons collection grow. For me I recently just collected the 3 Xenoblade games, after playing 1 a bit on the 3DS a long time ago and enjoying it, I’m glad I was able to get these 3 (mostly second hand). The trilogies on the switch lol they’re elusive sometimes - hope you eventually get those atelier games too!
Sorry in advance for the ramble. Can’t recommend Rune Factory 4 enough, one of my favorite games ever! I played FoMT when I was a kid, such fond memories with that town. So when I was feeling really nostalgic, I picked up RF4 hoping to feel a tiny bit of that magic. For me, it was *so much better* than FoMT. Every aspect of the game, the scope, the writing, the characters, mechanics, graphics, all felt like an upgrade. And I just felt constantly surprised at how much content there was, the surprising amount of detail was put in. Random example Forte is afraid of ghosts, so if you bring her to the haunted mansion with your party *she gets spooked and teleports home* before returning sheepishly. Just her, I tried it with a different team and it just skips that cutscene. And many of the romance events are so poignant and involved, Margaret’s and Amber’s come to mind. So much charm and care was put into this game, I’m still finding little details and small events. Sorry again for the length haha. Personally I think RF5 is still worth picking up, but RF4 is the go-to! If you give it a try, hope you enjoy it as much as the harvest moon games, or maybe more!
Omg i love Ys 8!! I got the European version and it was a little bit more affordable, I’m not sure if that’s still the case! But definitely should be a high priority purchase, it’s so good! And the new one is coming out this year
Hello from Canada! Just found your channel and subbed! My fiance and I are looking for Dragon Quest Builders 1 and I didn't know there was another Star Ocean on Switch outside of Second Story R (doesn't seem to be physical tho). Will keep tuning in!
Pioneers of Olive town was fun to me. I’m definitely going back to it one day. Story of Seasons a Wonderful Life was a massive waste of time. I don’t remember hating a game as much and SoS is one of my favourite franchises.
You should definitely pick up the sequel to AI The Somnium Files! It's pretty good, but yeah, not as perfect as the original. So many good games you've got on your wishlist!
As someone who’s a very late adopter of the Switch and is trying to play catch up before the eventual new Nintendo console I’ve got a big list. But so far the ones I’m looking for the most are: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 No More Heroes 1-2 Bayonetta 1&3 Octopath Traveler Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster The World Ends With You: Final Remix Chrono Cross Remaster New Pokemon Snap Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Omg tactics ogre reborn is just one game I’ve held off on forever. I don’t know why lol but I’m just adamant on not buying until it goes down a little more in price 😅
I really wanna buy more otome games like Norn9 and Birushana but I’m holding off cuz I have other ones I haven’t played yet 😂 been also wanting super Mario 3D world and Tales of Arise for the PS5! They’re all gonna have to wait for now though lol.
Not sure how you feel about the series but I am seriously considering picking up the Castlevania Advance collection for Switch. Just can't decide what cover I want since there are four different versions... I love those games though
Wellllll did you buy all the Ryza games?! Also highly recommend both Ni No Kuni's. Both games can still be gotten for cheap, I think I got both for $50 total.
Honestly you've got so many great games on your wishlist any new recommendation I would give would just be enabling your problem at this point 😂 lol jk jk I do think you ended up biting the bullet and pre-ordered at least one of the Atelier games. With making this video and the fact thus might be the last reprint I think the fomo got to you. Cause it probably would have for me haha
Could you explain me the differences with the first? I played some hours of the first but found it too grindy and didn't like much the gameplay during battles. Is the second different or better?
@@Dave_Machine I haven't played the first one but I heard that the difference in combat is 1 is more like a monster tamer game whereas 2 you do the fighting yourself but have little creatures supporting you. 2 also has city-building & management segments. It has an average amount of grinding for a JRPG, but you could set it to easy mode to breeze through the combat
I played it fully on switch (digital) and generally it is ok but graphics gets a hit and the details gets scaled dramatically in some areas to keep up the framerate. Especially in one of the dungeons towards the end has some performance issues. Finally I bought the physical copy on PS5 but on switch if definitely playable if you want to go that way
Waiting to collect is what makes it feel special! If we bought everything the second we wanted it, we’d lose that collecting magic!

I love your energy and genuine enthusiasm for all things Nintendo! 😁
I agree! Her energy makes her videos so engaging and her videos always make me excited to play video games 😂
13 sentinels is super cheap on VGP and PNP right now, I think it’s like 30$ CAD or so

If I have a recommendation, it’s gotta be the game Moon on switch! It’s a classic “anti-rpg” in a similar vein to Undertale, highly recommend!

Thanks for the video! Physical versions of Ni no Kuni 1 and 2 for Switch are on sale on Amazon right now. I've added both to my backlog haha

This is a great wishlist!! Love all the rpg love! I want a lot of these games too haha
You have a nice wishlist, I put some of your wishlist on mine. I would like to add to mine is Astral Chain
I was just about to recommend the Grandia Collection!

Amazing list! I get the feeling of wanting all of the Final Fantasy games 😂 Sounds fairly attainable overall over the next few years, Happy hunting!
Hello from Canada! Just found your channel and subbed! My fiance and I are looking for Dragon Quest Builders 1 and I didn't know there was another Star Ocean on Switch outside of Second Story R (doesn't seem to be physical tho). Will keep tuning in!
Star ocean 2 is on cart with english and japanese, only some language packs must be downloaded
lots of great game
Ni No Kuni games are really nice

There are so many games I'm interested in, but it's so stressful to choose one it stresses me out these days, I'm not rich, nintendo!
Wellllll did you buy all the Ryza games?! Also highly recommend both Ni No Kuni's. Both games can still be gotten for cheap, I think I got both for $50 total.
Good choices
Avoid physical for Somnium Files. 6GB day one patch. The game is unfinished on the card.
Definitely get and play RF3S first THEN RF4S
Definitely pick up Pikmin 4 i absolutely LOVE it
What are your thoughts on Nintendo suing developers of emulators?
Honestly you've got so many great games on your wishlist any new recommendation I would give would just be enabling your problem at this point 😂 lol jk jk
I do think you ended up biting the bullet and pre-ordered at least one of the Atelier games. With making this video and the fact thus might be the last reprint I think the fomo got to you. Cause it probably would have for me haha
Ni No Kuni II is one of my favorite RPGs of all time, I don't know where all of the negative opinions for it come from
Could you explain me the differences with the first? I played some hours of the first but found it too grindy and didn't like much the gameplay during battles. Is the second different or better?

Brillant channel enjoy the video
heads up: Do not hold high hopes for Ys 8, most loved it but some (including me hated it)
I tried Ys 8 on Switch and the graphics were pretty bad. I'm not usually a graphics snob but it was ugly. Way better on the PS5
