    Hello sir, if i may ask, what is the name of the chinese manufacturer that you visit in this video? the manufacturer of Arkon Wheel? thanks 🙏😄

  • @ItsKellinMe
    @ItsKellinMe 5 ปีที่แล้ว +47

    the reason they did this is because their own brand Arkon is made in China. Trying to ease the mind of consumers that their wheels aren't made like garbage. Not throwing shade at them but thats why they did this video.

    Just like thought, expensive wheel brands come off of the same assembly line as the "cheap"/not well known brands.

  • @unome55
    @unome55 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The thing to question now is the price of certain brand wheels. If all those different manufacturers have their wheels made under the same roof why should we pay a higher price for some of those brands? Essentially they are all the same core wheel with a different face design and logo on them.

    Just like most things in the global marketplace, wheels are made where labor and materials are cheaper. I don't the Chinese wheels as long as the QA process is acceptable. Walking around SEMA last year i saw Fuller and the gang, but i also saw the chinese manufacturers that make most of the items for everyone else.
    Walked by Auxbeam and all their goodies then at the other end of the convention center was a company from China that makes the non-branded items for most of the name brands in the same building. Was very interesting.

    • @windex23
      @windex23 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      And that good patriot will die of hunger as no one will buy his wheels as they'd be 10x the price of the competition and, at the end of the day, most people worry about pricing. The only way to succeed at manufacturing in the United States is to produce something that is more technically advanced or that represents a novelty on the market (heck, Tesla Motors). And that won't happen for something as basic as a truck wheel.

      I agree, the only problem is they are paid almost nothing and the health and safety laws for the workers are almost none. That is why everyone goes to China to make stuff. They don't get paid very much and we pay top dollar. I like the products also - but it's not always up and up as this shows.

    • @veasnapeng1
      @veasnapeng1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah it would create more jobs but it would be a lot more expensive and no it would not be more affordable dumbass. China pays their workers pennies compared to the cost of what they sell and yet the wheels are still expensive. Now imagine if it was made in America, wheels that cost 2,000 are now 4,000 to make up for the hundreds of dollars of American labor. As a consequence, the increase in price is inversely proportional to consumers willingness to buy. It's really just basic economics. Im just dumbing it down A LOT for you. As a consumer, if it was made in China then it is more affordable to the American people. As a businessman, offshoring labor means more profit and businesses is booming. Use your big boy brain and think. Just because it creates more jobs in America doesn't mean more people could afford them, it would be the exact opposite. Food for thought.

    Why hate china? If everything is made there. The only and main reason iw because is cheaper to build there. Here in the USA even to get a t shirt with a sticker on it, will cost you around 35 to 55 bucks depends on your size style and size. Well if you order your shirt from a overseas company you will get it for 3 to 5 bucks. Thats the main reason.
