try out google now launcher. I used emui for a few months as well but the now launcher runs more smoothely
Christian Gaa I'm happy with EMUI because, as I said, I had an iPhone before, and EMUI has similar features to the iPhone's interface, which has made the transition a lot smoother, but I might try the Google launcher and see if I like it better.
Jamie Headey I switched from an iPhone 5 as well and loved umiu for its similarities as well but after switching to now launcher you feel like using Android in its full potential. Maybe you will like it, maybe not
The Huawei P9 Lite is the best phone for it's price! I remember choosing a phone in a store, I was thinking about buying a Samsung Mid-Range phone, but i went with the Huawei P9 Lite instead. Best decision ever!

I have had it for around 2 months and i had no problems whatsoever!
It's EMUI is beautiful and much better than the stock Android!
Also, not to mention it somehow has a better design on the bottom of the device than the P9

Yusuf Stone sadly when you drop your phone you might get this glitchy line on the bottom of the screen which is pretty annoying

I dropped this phone multiple times coz I was angry, the screen cracked the 6th time I droped onto brick floor. The phone screen is damaged as hell. But I still play pubg in it. Very smoothly. The best huawei phone at that time. Also the camera is so amazing.
I'd add that EMUI also supports to slideshow your own photos, or any picture, not just the built in ones on the lockscreen
What software version is that? Mine is EMUI 5.0.2 and not all features are the same, and some of them look a bit different (like the swipe-down shortcuts menu)

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE DEVICE!!
I got my phone a few days ago and it runs great but I have problems with alarm and reminder apps. I've been using Life Reminders and Alarm Clock Extreme with my old HTC Desire X and when I installed them here, they JUST WON'T WORK if I clean the apps from the task manager! I tested this a couple of times and it's the same result. If I just close the app, lock the phone, but DON'T clean the app from the task manager - it works.. but even if the phone is unlocked and go out of the app and clean my task manager - nothing! Just saw some forums that people have this problem with Huawei Mate 8.

+The Marionette Well I used a locally made tempered glass... Its not branded... Luckily I didn't have any bubbles on huawei logo :)

How can I transfer my apps from internal storage to external storage? I already save my default storage as SD but when I download apps from google play it will be save in internal storage.

Mr Gamer I really suggest you to get a black one! the White is too common and the gold costs a bit more and looks too girly..

Well, I've got this phone back in 2017. Amazing sound when you play it on speakers, really amazing for this price. Lot's of models in 2022 have to kneel in front of this small bug!

you can also use your fingerprint sensor -> in the settings you can go to smart assistance -> smart key and assign what the phone shall do if you e.g. tap+hold fingerprint sensor or tap it twice. By doing so, you can open up flashlight oder camera and you should be able to take a screenshot also.
at least it works with the honor 8. Alternatively you could also use the knuckles functionality (tap twice with single knuckle).
