I have Bates Strike 6". They have the same outsole and the same insole like Cobra. The outsole has amazing grip in any surface and the insole is really comfortable. I'm walking about 10 miles everyday in my job and my feet leel really comfortable. They need 1-2 days to break in, but after that they are great for your feet.

I wore these boots for a solid year before I wore out the soles and became unserviceable. I have to say that they were the nicest boots I ever had. Comfortable for both garrison and the field. I never got blisters from these. 10/10 would recommend to anybody

Been wearing my pair for 4 years. It's finally worn out on the inside from everyday wear and tear (the heels on the inside developed deep holes I can't ignore anymore), and I can say without a doubt they are the best boots I've ever had. Comfortable, breathable, and protective.
The only complaint I could have is that some of the eyelets come loose almost immediately, but I just took a pair of wire-cutter pliers and clipped the loose ones off, and the rawhide leather holes the laces go through were just fine. For actual military uniform standards though: this might be an issue.
These are combat boots you can wear through everyday work, and to me they're as comfortable as sneakers. I highly recommend them.

Been EDCing these for 4 months now. Theyv held up incredible, not a scratch on them. My only complaint is that the eyelids started coming off, nothing changed really aside just from the looks but that it. Incredibly comfortable, and great for running and being on your feet all the time, very light.
Ive worn them beach fishing plenty of times aswell. Completely soaking my boots but my feet stay very dry, even with the breathability. Only time my feet get wet is when you get above the top of your ankle and the start of your leg, thats where the water gets in but its not even that much. Ive worn these working out, cutting grass, going to the range, etc. Held up beautifully and they look pretty cool aswell. Ankle support is amazing. You can get them really tight and make a complete shut out from the top of the boot from water or dirt. Pretty thick material too, never have even dented or etched any material off in my months of beating the crap out of them. Will never buy another boot model again.
edit: Also didnt take any time to break them in. Out of the box they felt incredible and I could go for a hike in them. Despite this the sole stays dry

Just wondering is there a way to prevent water from entering the vent holes?

@@TheBootGuyreviews Any kind of shoe glue you'd recommend? Or can I apply some paraffin to the holes?

Look for leather lined boots, it's antibacterial, absorbs sweat and dries faster than goretex
