Yea, its really not healthy to have actors and actresses, who are not transgender, play trans characters. Funny enough, when there have been examples of this, the cis actors reported feeling extreme levels of gender dysphoria. While it would be a very interested story to tell, the impact on the actors mental health would make it too much of a burden. I do find this funny, as actual transpeople go through this everyday

It was right on this part where Shawn is dressed like a babe. My dad never watching the show didn't know the characters and said, "wooooooow who's that, she's gorgeous ". I couldn't stop laughing and told him it was a boy dressed as a girl! He didn't want to believe it! I swear after that day he always kept his disgusting remarks to himself.
I can’t believe this. I’m a 90s kid and I can’t believe I never saw this. If I had seen this when I was younger, I would’ve been bolder and asked my parents if it was ok to dress as a girl. When I was in high school, I had to wear women’s makeup and clothes for a school play, and, even though my family teased me about it afterwards, I thought I looked good. From that day on, I couldn’t help but think if I’d be more comfortable dressing more effeminately. I always tried to push those thoughts aside because my family was super religious back then and I thought it was wrong to feel that way. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I decided I didn’t care and just wanted to dress the way I want.
