Anyone know what’s the fastest way to go from Czartoryski Museum to Wavel Castle. We are 2 senior citizens who are tying to do the museum, the castle and the old town and market square in one day. Thanks
How old are you? How well can you walk? It is not so very far to walk almost anywhere as the center is quite small and the walk o the Wawel Castle should only take you about twenty minutes at most. From the Czartoryski Museum to the Old Town is nothing as the museum is located on the edge of what you can call the ''old town'' anyway. From the Czartoryski Museum to the Wawel is less than half a mile. Most of what you want to see in Krakow is all closely connected together, Krakow center is very compact, it is not like traveling across New York!
@@michaelmckelvey5122 yes the path was much shorter/smaller than the you tube videos made them out to be. We started at around 11am from our hotel, spent 4 hours at the Czartoryski, then ate a bite, walked through Old town and ended the day (from 5pm onwards) at Wavel Castle and the fire breathing dragon.

Krakow is a busy and chaotic city that is not very welcoming to tourists. The customer service people always expect that you are from Poland. It's very difficult to communicate with the locals with english or any other non-polish language.
Polish aren't very welcoming to many people , they always look miserable in every city especially the waitresses look like they are servicing a prison sentence . I've gone for the past 18 years . Purely cos it's cheap nothing else .
