    You can make Arrowroot Powder, Corn starch and Potato starch using this same methods.

    The ground starch source material mix with water and take the extracts, then keep it 4-5 hours to collects the sediments and add water again to the sediments and mix well and keep it for 3-4 hours....repeat this process till you get the clear snow white colour starch powder.
    Starches are one of the most common household baking ingredients. They can be used to thicken soups, create fluffy gluten-free baked goods, and are a great way to boost the texture of your favourite recipes. Whether you choose to use starch as a thickening agent, a texture boost or to help bind gluten-free ingredients together, your recipe is sure to benefit.
    So, what happens when a recipe calls for tapioca flour, and you don't have any on hand? Don't worry! Instead of running to the grocery store, make it at your home. There are a variety of different substitutes you can use to create the same fantastic flavour.
    Tapioca Starch Substitutes.

    Corn Starch /Corn flour
    Potato Starch
    Both tapioca starch and arrowroot starch are essential ingredients in gluten-free cooking. Derived from similar plants, tropical tubers, they work well when used to thicken dishes and add structure to a recipe. While they both thicken effectively, there is one main difference between the two: arrowroot retains its thickness even when frozen or thawed. Because tapioca starch does not hold up to freezing as well as arrowroot starch, if you plan on freezing your leftovers, then we recommend swapping tapioca flour for arrowroot starch.
    However, if you're adding starch to your recipe to help bind the ingredients, such as in gluten-free goods, then tapioca flour will surely yield better results. If you're out of tapioca flour and still want to use arrowroot flour as a binding agent, then we recommend mixing it with different gluten-free flours before adding it to the recipe.
    **This can be used as Fabric starch for sarees, shirts and other cotton fabrics.

    Pls what type of cassava did you use ?

    • @A2Z.KitchensFoods
      @A2Z.KitchensFoods  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sree Vijaya, Sree Jaya, Sree Pekha, Sree Prabha, Co (Tp) 5, H - 97, H - 165, H - 226 and Sree Harsha are the popular varieties of cassava in India. Sweet and bitter cassava are available and both can be used to produce starch. The bitter type will have around 350-400 mg of hydrogen cyanide in one kilogram cassava. But during the starch making process the cyanide will be removed and safe to use.

      Sabudana or Tapioca pearls are made off tapioca starch and so the taste will be the same. Tapioca pearls need to sock and boil well to get this starch paste.

    1 kg tapioca raw to how much starch get.

    • @A2Z.KitchensFoods
      @A2Z.KitchensFoods  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Approximately 200 -250 grams of starch. Keep in mind that these values are rough estimates, and the actual starch content may vary depending on factors such as the specific variety of tapioca and growing conditions.

    Shouldn't we remove the cynaide first?

    • @A2Z.KitchensFoods
      @A2Z.KitchensFoods  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The cyanide will be removed this water treating process shown in the video and the sediments will be again sun dried to remove remaining portion of the cyanide. soaking, boiling and sun drying are the effective methods to remove cyanide. thank you.
