Just amazing to see his growth in just his first year. Let this sink in ..... In the HISTORY of the NBA playoff's he was second to Kareem in scoring in the nba playoff's their rookie season. With Brad and coaching staff, and his work ethic and 20 to 30 lbs of muscle he will be a top 5 player in the entire league within 2 to 3 years. #futureisbright
Hubie Brown is the most knowledgeable and his appreciation and passion for the gam is evident when he commentates. I enjoy him. Love Doris Burke’s voice.
This will be the best rookie from this draft class, no doubt in my mind. Just looking at his game already, he will be a deadly scorer. He has an incredible jump shot and shoots incredibly well, he even led the nba in 3 point percentage at one point in the season. He’s tall enough and jumps high enough to pull up over anyone and he has good handles to create space for shots or get by defenders. His footwork is at a high level for a 20 year old rookie. Not to mention the fact that he is second all time in rookie playoff scoring behind KAREEM by ONE POINT. He’s shown that he can get blocks and rebounds and he passes well. He really has a high basketball iq. He will be an mvp level player in his prime, mark my words
Tristan Radeka also he’s a great defender for his age! Especially when you take into account how good he is as a shooter and a scorer! This is why Tatum is better then Simmons, not only can he embarrass defenders with the ball in his hands but off the ball he’s as deadly as anyone! As a rookie he shot 47.5% from the field off 10.4 shots a game and shot 43% from 3 on 3 attempts per game! Insane efficiency and it’s great to know he’s not just a one dimensional player like Kyrie
OKC Celtics Jayson Tatum, Zach Levine, Jaylen Brown and Donovan Mitchell are all heading for top 20 maybe even ten in the league when they all hit their prime. They all have a while to go and they’ll get there.
J S and once he develops that left more, which he definitely will, he’ll be deadly. He was training with Kobe, he’s gonna be a beast. Already his footwork is on a level much higher than any rookie and his jumper is perfect. He’s got enough height to pull up and sink shots over anyone and the handles to create spacing or blow by. He dunks powerfully and makes athletic plays constantly, and like you said this isn’t him being aggressive yet. I think he could become an mvp level player in his prime
There was a moment, after he dunked on Bron.. then hit that 3 which gave us all a moment of pause.. thinking hold on, is this shit actually about to truly fucking happen. It didnt that year, but this dude for damn sure let us all know, It will.
Ngl I hate the celtics but JT has to be my second favorite player behind Lebron. He’s like a tall ass Kyrie that can dunk on your best player. When he banged it on LBJ I didn’t know how to act 😂
LeBron said "a team full of rookies took me to seven games I gotta get the fuck outta Cleveland cuz when Kyrie and Gordon Hayward comeback next year this team gonna beat my ass and I'll be right back to square one with the Celtics again I'm taking my ass west I ain't funna deal with that cheese no more"😂😂😂
Tatum is so much better than Ben Simmons by far like y doesn’t the nba realize that, like really Ben Simmons got the rookie of the year bs and that’s wat he is sum bs aka Ben Simmons
Marlon Warner as a Celtics fan, he was better than Simmons, and as good as Mitchell in the regular season: in the playoffs, he was the Celtics MVP. However ROY is an award for who has the best regular season statistics
My favourites are the dunk on Lebron and "Fakes it, takes it, makes it."
Thanks for this video!
Mike also has the "Jaylen Brown...knocks it down".
I love that they zoomed in on Simmons face after Tatum drops Covington
salty
Deepak Shankar overrated😂 what r u on
Deepak Shankar is he better now the Mitchel
@Deepak Shankar how did this age

Michael Coffey he should’ve had more points than Kareem look at how many plays where a foul was not given....
2nd to Kareem by ONE...ONE freakin' point!
@ Bleed I felt the exact same way when I found that out too :)
I agree with all that but maybe only 10-15 pounds tho

Mike Breen: "Brown to Smart, Smart to Tatum. Sets, fires 3 pointer... banggg."

Bearboy193 only if he’s hype for your team, which is mostly just him hyping up lebron’s squad -_-
RatBoi He's by far my favorite excluding our play-by-play announcers. 🤷♂️

@@devintaylor7416 nope, not top 20. He top 12 at least this season maybe pushing even top 10

The handles of this guy!
that dunk got me out my seat..im hyped for this coming SEASON
Shoulda fed Tatum more in game 7 against Cavs
SS Yep Terry Was colder than Ice and Smart for some odd reason had the ball with Terry
Extra Medium Jaylen was cold as hell too
Tatum was really the Only one who showed up in the series
Extra Medium Only one that showed up in the series?
Baller4Life Tatum was consistent all series
After watching that Sixers series I honestly have no idea how Robert Covington made an all defensive team
or said after G5 "I thought I played pretty well in this series"
They shouldve kept mikal bridges
He boomed me
Boston has to keep Tatum and Brown! They will be super stars in 4-5 years and the Celtics will have a super team!
its going to plan

He’s not even aggressive yet... let that sink in lol when he asserts that aggressive mindset to his game he’s gonna be unstoppable
he's aggresive enough. He will get stronger and smarter.. Scary tbh

Just wait till Kobe pass down the mamba mentality 😎 Kobe 2.0 in a Celtics jersey lol
This dude has no weaknesses. He's going to be a superstar in this league. Celts better hold on to him.
just signed him to a five year extension
What a magical playoff run
Tatum will be an all star this coming year that's for sure..
Rata Paga ditto I'm thinking the same

OMG the last clip of dunking on Lebrun made me get chills .... all I thought was not now but very soon the words "dethroned"
That spin move he did on Simmons. 😂 Making Simmons look average haha. Dunking on LeBron too for your last rookie game too hahah. 🖐
yoo first time I see someone on yt with the same pic
Mrpaulojorge97 What's up hahah!
I mean they’re in the finals rn
6:36 is amazing
9:12 That face says it all
Can’t wait for this season to start
Jayson Tatum is going to be one of the best ever and the face of the entire league real soon. The next all time great.
New Fav Player
8:56 oh the foreshadowing
This is the rebirth of Kobe Bryant in a Celtics jersey RIP the eastern conference once this team gets fully healthy
Accomplished more than 90% of the other young stars in the league in his first season
This man is BIG TIME!!! 💪🏼☘️🏆
You should do a comparison video showing vids from this 2018 run and this years playoffs, crazy how similar the team looks with horford back
As I watch all these clips I cant help but remind myself of Embiids tweet "Don't compare me to Ayton I play D"
lmaooo
Not winning game 7 still haunts me to this day
If they would’ve kept feeding the ball to Jt they would’ve won 😔
All these moves he pulled off on seasoned vets is what’s scary as fuck 🙌 imagine what he’ll be like in a couple of years 😱
Kid plays like he's been in the league 10 yrs.
Jayson Tatum is the goat
8:00 tatum moves towards rim from baseline before getting ball from horford after he draws the defense in
There was a moment, after he dunked on Bron.. then hit that 3 which gave us all a moment of pause.. thinking hold on, is this shit actually about to truly fucking happen. It didnt that year, but this dude for damn sure let us all know, It will.
Horford must be up there as one of the smart players ever. Will really be missed if he actually does leave the team.
I feel like people forget this happened.....
nice one, hate the last several minutes JT's having no chance to score/holding balls
If he gets back to being able to be just a pure scorer the league is in trouble
Where is the euro steps and fadeaways
How did it take some people another season and a half to see he's that much better than Kuzma
There you go throw it down Son ...

June 11th 2024,
Champions now
are you planning on reuploading the all 3s video for Tatum?
Yeah, probably yes
any chance we get the field goal video back ?
The only bad decision making he had that playoff run was yamming on a LeBron 2 games away from the finals
Nah I think it's when he bump Bron afterwards lol
Anyone else think he’s more valuable than Gordon and kyrie?

that's kobe blocking lebron at all star, working with in practice makes him a great player.
