I’m impressed with Pathfinder’s quality and engineering. I installed their multifunction blade that attaches to the trunk without a rack. As part of that, I installed the Pathfinder connectors that plug-n-play into the left and right harnesses under the seat on my 2018 Tour. Nice video and the shoutout to Cruiseman. His videos have helped me too!
I’m waiting for the chrome spoiler from pathfinder to get back in stock, I will be purchasing that. I’m also looking at the helibar risers as I have short ish arms. Thank you for watching!
I have the same kind of nylon pins on my cbf 1000. When i work on my bike i always put some silicon grease on them wich makes very easy to pull out the next time.
Nice job Glad to see this went well I have been watching cruiseman as well Nice to see that an average guy can do some of these installations Waiting for the weather to stop dumping snow in WI so I can bring my new to me 2021 wing home from the dealer
For the center stand, I've found your best bet is to start with the bike on the side stand. Gently step on the center stand with your right foot and start to stand the bike up. You'll feel exactly when the bike is on both feet of the stand, but you can rock it gently back and forth to get a better feel. Once you have both sides of the center stand down put all your weight on your right foot, your left is off the ground. You should not need much muscle to lift the bike up at that point. If you give it too much the bike will fly up on the stand and skid backwards!
Just a quick suggestion. You may want to pick up a JIS (Japanese industrial standard) #2 screw driver. Looks like a Phillips #2 but sits in the numerous screws on this bike much better than the standard Philips screw driver. You were fortunate to get that accessory screw out of the fuse panel without stripping the screw. I wasn’t so fortunate. Nonetheless, the JIS driver was able to even get the stripped screw out. 😐
There are too many parts to the bolts removing the seat, including the plastic bushings. My bolt set was not complete on delivery of my new DCT Tourer. I reckon like everything these days, the folks that assembled the bike did not pay attention or flat didn’t care. I didn’t realize it for some time, but did notice taking the seat off for the first time, things were missing. I found a 1 piece bolt assembly from Max at Traxxion dynamics. They were approximately $30 with the shipping if memory is correct. It was $ well spent as it is so easy to assemble the seat now. It’s a beautiful Goldwing. I’ve had my DCT Tourer for 5 years and other than battery and tires, normal stuff, no issues. Enjoy the motorcycle, it will give you many smiles and very dependable
Thank you!! And thanks for watching, glad Max had a solution for you. I’ve purchased a couple of things from him already. I have a feeling I’ll be riding the GW much more than I did the VTX. Ride safe!
Solid video for the installation of the Pathfinderled Power hub. My question is, how can you now install your previous purchase of the Kisan Tailblazer???? They both use the same type of dual connectors on the right & left under the seat, don't they??? Seems incompatible to me.
Robert thanks for reaching out. They either didn’t use the same connector OR I connected them inline with the tail blazer last in line towards the brake lights… works fine.
Yeah I looked at a photo and I have the power accessory hub plugged in first and the the tail blazer next (all compatible connections) then the line out to the brakes.
Thanks BJ ! I'm dropping a vlog today on the installation of some Pathfinder DRL and Sequential turn signal cowl lights. I also installed a brake modulator. When available there's a chrome trunk spoiler with built in brake and turn signals (May 2023 sometime)... Thank you for watching !

Looking forward to seeing the accessories you add to that beauty!
Thank you for watching!

I’ve heard that and will do that soon. Thank you for watching!
Thanks Robert
Concise and easy to follow, thank you. Watching closely as will be able to reference when taking mine apart. Cheers from over the pond!
Tang, thank you for watching. You should also check out Cruisman's channel. He does a much better job at explaining :)
The audio and video quality on how to install the pathfinder on the Honda Goldwing was very good.
Howard, thank you for watching!
Wish you always happy and cheerful
The Lady bug is liking the video too.
Nice job
Glad to see this went well
I have been watching cruiseman as well
Nice to see that an average guy can do some of these installations
Waiting for the weather to stop dumping snow in WI so I can bring my new to me 2021 wing home from the dealer
Congrats on the new bike Rob, and thank you for watching !
Loving these Robert. Great to see just a normal Joe Bloggs doing this work, gives us all confidence
Suggest getting Traxxion Dynamics replacement seat bolts. Excellent accessory.

I have learned the trick! Thank you for watching and commenting !!

Wade thank you, I have heard the term but didn’t know what it was. I’ll go find one !! Thanks for watching!
I stripped the negative accessory screw. Why so tight? Was able to remove the stripped screw with a screw extractor then replaced it without issue.
I done the same thing to my bike last week!

Did you plug the accessory hub into you heated seat connectors? If so, what do you do if you have the non-tour DCT without the heated seat? Thanks,
What is the part number for the power hub kit you used and did the harness come with the kit?
Good job! What accessories you thinking about? Thanks

Ok good
Can you please redo this video. I couldn’t concentrate with your ladybug friend going all over the place. 😂😂😂
Ain’t that the truth ?!? Thanks for watching Dan!
Looks like it would be a bit tight getting the seat back on with that box under there but you obviously did it. Just my pessimistic nature. 😅
There more room than I thought too. Thanks for watching!
You should see the underside of Chris Caliente’s seat… oh my it’s packed and confusing. He has every accessory available 🙂
The title read “installing the pathfinder hub’ yet the video opened with the floor being swept. Naw Bruh don’t have that kinda time.
I move slow my friend, sorry to have taken some of your time. Ride Safe.
