@ but all wood is porous and it’s meant to be for wood so they shit the bed on this one lol I think maybe it’s to watery but to make the pen work it has to be somewhat able to flow out so 🤷♀️ what else would you use it for? I watched some people put it on their Jean jackets and pants but that’s to 90s for me
@ I don’t know I don’t like the pen so I don’t really use it and yes while wood is not all solid some wood will work better like a pine. I’ve used it on pine and it did much better
Thank you for the video .
I much prefer paste .
@@dralph5260 I really like the paste. It’s a little messier but the results are so good
I really like the results of the paste. Thank you for showing the tutorial it really helps to see how it's done.😊
I've tried the pen, and I somewhat liked it. I will try the paste next, I really liked your result with the paste.
Thank you, appears paste a lot easier to use..
Love the paste one xxx
❤❤❤
Paste
Once burned, can you use the board to put food on it or is it only for decoration?
@@CraftyInes yes I would recommend you condition it and wax it with this first amzn.to/4e1vij0
Cover and protect wood with food grade resin or similar
Is there anything you should put on the board to make it safe for food to be added on it after using these products?

I've been wanting to burn wood. I'll try Scorch Marker, see what happens. They have the pen and paste.
Even if I put the lightest layer with the pen, it bleeds. The paste works great though.
Yeah that’s my experience too. The pen might be better on a non porous surface

I purchased 3 packs of the pens. NOT ONE wirked. I will stick with the paste.
What about HOMEMADE Burn Paste? Thicken and Ammonium Chloride.
@@BrendaMorningstar that is not as safe in my opinion. The paste is nontoxic while the ammonium chloride can cause some respiratory issues
