    Love the random local interview. I wish more people would interview locals so that you can see if you can stand the local culture. Like some might like local culture in the Caribbean and some might like a quieter culture in Asia, just a persons preference.

    G'day Taylor, I am fully retiring later this year and my wife and I have rented a house for 10 weeks. It is about 150 metres from Gurney Plaza in Penang. We are arriving the week before Christmas and we will be there for Lunar New Year. My two grown children will join us for the first 3 weeks. I am so looking forward to it.

    Good presentation Taylor from start till end. Nice to see people around the world talking and enjoying life. I guess this was a good idea. Showing the open pits etc was also a good idea, shows that Malaysia is a practical place and such things happens. However, it's better to have some safety signs as it's raining a lot in KL, so any one can fall in these pits.

    I've managed long distance rentals for decades. Good idea to raise rents yearly even if only $25usd.
    Home Warranty policy is helpful so you don't worry about small problems from far away. Cost is tax deductible.
    Even if your tenants take care renovations good idea to get other estimates anyway. Yelp is helpful and cross reference with Angie's list and Next Door.

    Interesting video, Taylor. I like this type of video where you just go around town and talk to people. A few questions:
    1. Do your Florida tenants know you have a TH-cam channel, and do they subscribe?
    2. I have yet to find a good burger in Malaysia. I always have to spit out certain bites due to toughness of the meat. Do you know a good burger place in KL that meets or exceeds a Western standard for tender, juicy, "nothing to spit out" meat?
    3. I love Indian food, too; especially butter chicken and garlic naan. Can you recommend a good Indian place in KL?

    • @andrewtaylor4558
      @andrewtaylor4558  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My tenants don’t know I’m on TH-cam. I think Chile’s has a decent burger. I don’t have a favourite Indian restaurant but they have good butter chicken at Souled Out. 😊

    Hi Taylor, its always so interesting to watch your videos, like meeting a friend, and share your life and views.
    Might be a good idea to put out an open invitation to all your fans and friends out there, esp the locals, and ask them to come and chat with you. I would love to meet them on your videos! Most people would be shy but being in a group might make a difference.
    I shouldn't attend though, because I always say explosive things. Though I can be polite.

    Chit-chating while getting drunk is interesting, viewers want to hear all their scandalous secrets.
    Taylor if you want live here forever, you’ve to marry one of the locals and get a long-term spouse visa. There are many SE Asia people doing it. Initially it is approved for 5 years. Thereafter, it will be indefinite stay and remain in the country. Spouse visa also allows you to work. It is as good as a permanent resident visa.
