Amazing how the Young brothers can take three power chords and drive them into your brain where you can't help but bob your head and get into their powerful groove.

@bflo1000What a stupid reaction. You can say that off all vintage albums. Bands nowadays hardly now how to play live properly. That’s where the real power of AC/DC ‘s longevity lies. No pretetions, just great musicians.

@@watchbizmatik en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC/DC 🏏 Malcolm and Angus Young developed the idea for the band's name after their sister, Margaret Young, saw the initials "AC/DC" on the AC adapter of a sewing machine. "AC/DC" is an abbreviation meaning "alternating current/direct current" electricity. The brothers felt that this name symbolised the band's raw energy, power-driven performances of their music.[20][21] "AC/DC" is pronounced one letter at a time, though the band are colloquially known as "Acca Dacca" in Australia.[22][23] The AC/DC band name is stylised with a high voltage sign separating the "AC" and "DC" and has been used on all studio albums, with the exception of the international version of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.

In my opinion. Happy rockin experiencing each one. Thanks. I needed this tonight. The man who got me hooked on ACDC, was a drummer locally. I was 15, and have thought about him everytime I listen to certain Bon songs. Mainly being TNT. My drummer friend sang all the songs that they played and I swear he sounded just like Bon. You're a habit I don't want to break
Don't want none of that hard stuff
    Don't need it anymore
I'm in love, and I'm sinking fast

    I overdosed on you
    I overdosed on you
    Crazy but it's true
    Ain't nothing I can do
    I overdosed on you

    To far gone to escape
Power of love, don't pull me off
    Just write on my grave

Funny how songs that I initially did not like, later become one of my faves. I distinctly remember going to my older brothers friends house and wanting to record "Let There Be Rock" onto cassette tape (ya... back in the 70's) Anyway, I did NOT want to record the guitar-tuning intro, as it was not "rockin'" enough for this 12 yo kid! Was recording from a 12" record, so kept tape paused until the guitar came in after a minute or so. Well, I timed it wrong and ended up with 15 seconds of tuning and boy was I ticked... lol :) Not too much later, I had come to my senses and now the sweet anticipation of that guitar AFTER the tuning just gives me mega goose bumps! Looking forward to your analysis, Mr. Biz :)
EDIT: Boy... when that twin-rhythm guitars chime in after it picks up makes me understand why Angus would jump around like a lunatic! How can you NOT go nuts while playing this song!?!?!?!?

AC/DC's first albums can get a touch confusing because there's different releases for Australia and the rest of the world. Different songs, different album names, different album covers and some such. I have 'em, even from before the internet got big. Took a lot of travel and a serious amount of money, but I have the shiny vinyl sitting in my records cabinet right there. Sure, it would have been easier to invent the internet myself and download the bunch, but hey, we're talking mid-seventies here and I ain't as smart as I sometimes sound, okay? I overdosed on "Overdose" a few times. "Let There Be Rock" was AC/DC's grown-up album. The disc that showed they had it. The power and the glory. They had a future because they had the oomph. And they had Bon Scott. The squealer dealer who didn't sound girlish while strutting his stuff. The pussy king. And then he died and all went South. A pity.

Bon and Angus were the stars but, it was Malcolms band. Phil Rudd is a beast on the drums.

I saw them in Oakland in 78....later on Bon Scott died on my 16th birthday...that fucked me up.
