- I tried to travel on a budget in Japan and find a breakfast set for only 500 YEN!
Can you get breakfast with only ONE COIN in Japan?
Today I found Caffe Veloce where I was able to get a peanut butter sandwich and a cafe latte and here is the price breakdown:
🥪 Peanut butter sandwich - 150 💴 (1$ / 0.9€ / 4.7 ron)
☕️ Cafe latte - 350 💴 (2.3$ / 2.2€ / 10.9 ron)
Extra tip: if you want to have a breakfast in Japan, try searching for a breakfast set because they are usually a great deal!
What can you do with 500💴 (3.3$ / 3.1€ / 15.6 ron) in your country?

Such a fun challenge! If you go to Japanese “fast food” places like Sukiya, Yoshinoya, Matsuya or my fave which is Nakau. They serve a complete meal set for breakfast for 300 yen.
