      Correct. My all time favorite Knick. I've met & gotten his autograph . A cool guy & very stylish. The 1970 - 1974 had the greatest team. If only W. Reed was healthy they would have won 4 championships. Those early 1970s games were so fun to watch. I wish more DVD box sets were released. The history box set released in 2005 I didn't get. Not all of the games were landmark games.

    • @bartonpercival3216
      @bartonpercival3216 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@davidchan9632 Yes I 💯% agree. And also one of the smartest basketball teams. They were playing in the New (1968) Madison Square Garden in the 70's. Such an incredibly exciting time in NBA history. Yes, it's also sad about Willis Reed getting injured. I do believe that Willis and the Knicks could have won 3-4 NBA championships. I was a West Coast kid growing up in the Bay Area, and in 1970 with the Knicks having that 18 game winning streak, they always seemed to be on the ABC NBA game of the week. I became a big fan of the Knicks. And in 1973, I had court side seats to see Willis, and Clyde, and Debusschere and Monroe play against the Warriors at the Oakland Alameda county Coliseum. It's a memory I'll never forget

    Clyde always has been a genuine Southern gentleman, and is a national treasure.
    Yes, given his stellar Knick career, and the global attention that his style brought to the Knicks, plus his later being an interesting, long time, and welcoming broadcaster for the Knicks, *he deserves a statue at Madison Square Garden,* more so than even another great
    NY Knick fave of mine, Willis Reed.

Willis Reed & Walt Clyde Frazier became my hero's. I remember seeing them play live in 1973 against the Warriors in Oakland at the Oakland Alameda county Coliseum.
