Hello , I need some help. I inherited a e model 4gb corora with rgh2 xdk chip. I rewired it to upgrade it to rgh3. Ran flashdump.bin file through jrunner and converted it to rgh3. My problem is that it now only boots to xell via eject button. If I use the power button, I just the green light and it's black screened. I looked at jrunner and there are no blocks or errors. I unfortunately don't have the original dump. Just the dump I did when it was rgh2. I have been going at this for 2 days now with no avail. Any help is welcome. Ps. I have checked the wiring and it is good. I also don't have wb2k ram.
I'm sorry I'm so late to reply...first check all connections and solder points and the HDMI. Then try switching to the older AV cables and attach that to the screen. Hello Repair Studio. If I don't know the CPU key of my console (because I never managed to run XELL) but I know the LDV, can I use a donor with the donor's CPU key, or do I need to know my own CPU key? Also, should the creation be set to Glitch2 - SMC+ or Glitch2 - RGH3?
@@dimitrisking7590 You can use a donor yes. Also as far as the glitch it depends on which one your doing. If your going the RGH3 route then choose that but if your using a chip you can use RGH glitch2 or glitch2-SMC....it breaks down like this: 1) RGH 1.2: This is often used for older Xbox 360 models (Phat consoles) and some Slim models. It’s known for its stability and relatively quick boot times. 2) RGH 2.0: This is used for newer Slim models and is necessary for consoles with a dashboard version higher than 14719. 3) S-RGH: This is a variation of RGH 2.0 that can offer faster boot times on some consoles. 4) Glitch2-SMC+ is a variant of the RGH 2.0 method, which uses an optimized SMC (System Management Controller) to improve boot times and stability. This method is particularly useful for certain Xbox 360 models, such as the Zephyr and Falcon, so best for older models in my experience. Zephyr's can be finicky so be aware if that's the model your working on. 🙂
@@repairstudio4940 Thank you very much for the quick response! I will use the RGH3 method. Sorry I just saw this, I work often. This is common no worries... When you rebuild the NAND in JRunner for your RGH Xbox 360, the disk drive might stop working due to a mismatch between the drive’s firmware and the console’s NAND. Here’s what you can do to fix it: 1) Check the DVD Key: Ensure that the DVD key in the NAND matches the one in the drive. If they don’t match, the drive won’t work. You can find the DVD key in JRunner under the “Key Vault” tab. 2) Reflash the Drive: If the keys match but the drive still doesn’t work, you might need to reflash the drive’s firmware. Use a tool like JungleFlasher to reflash the drive with the correct firmware. 3) Verify Connections: Double-check all the physical connections between the drive and the motherboard. Sometimes, a loose cable can cause the drive to malfunction. 4) Rebuild NAND with Correct Files: Make sure you used the correct files when rebuilding the NAND. Incorrect or corrupted files can cause various issues, including problems with the disk drive. 5) Update Dashboard: Ensure your console’s dashboard is up to date. Sometimes, an outdated dashboard can cause compatibility issues with the drive. Sorry so late but hopes this helps....let me know if you need further help.
