Nice video. When installing the new window motor put a small dab of clear grease on the tip end of the gear .This makes it easier to engage it to the gear in the door. This job took me about 20 min on my wife's 5. She is very happy to have her window working again!
When reinstalling the door piece how did you connect the white things on the door with the corresponding pieces on the door card? Been having a lot of trouble with this
I found on my 2012 mazda 5 that you can gain access to the window motor through the window control panel. Remove the panel, and the motor is right there thankfully! Just be careful not to drop your screws in the door. Easy!
When replacing broken windows, make SURE you vacuum out the glass bits at the inside door bottom. Or the glass bits will clog up the drain holes and bottom of doors will rust much quicker.
Same thing happened to our Mazda accept the cable came off the white round plastic thing .. cable got bent once we put it back on will probably need the whole regulator assembly replaced.

Problem sometimes is the teeth of the gears inside the motor have broken and can be changed out for new ones instead of changing the motor.
I think I am going this route. My motor is working perfect but I see two teeth broken, where you able find the teeth OEM?
