No you dont need to. It fits just right. But this varis is not for the wide body evo. More for the lancers.
Is this for an evo or a base lancer?? Could you put a link to the bumpers?
If im not mistaken this can be both for evo and lancer base. But you can dm the boys in ig @4b1xborneo or @big_blue4b1x for more info

It's polypropylene for the front bumper. But the rear is just fibre.
