Beautifully made video my friend!! WOW! Those lakes and rivers are things of dreams! I wish we had water like that in Texas. I’d like to learn to fly fish one day. In my opinion, that’s an elegant way to fish. Poetry in motion! New subscriber here!! #482
Awesome job, very informative. Any pointers on where to go/start such a trip exactly? Neighboring villages, etc. The scenery is worth the trip already.
Nice. I am from Bavaria myself and just starting fly fishing here in Germany again as I just did fish in Ireland as a kid few times. Amazing style of fishing. So meditative. Where have you been there exactly ? I am mostly at the Sylvensteinspeicher lake where you also can fish a stretch of the beautiful Isar river too. Great scenery. We call it Bavarian Canada 😂
Looks really nice!! Didn't know you have Arctic char in the Alps.. When are you guys comming back to the Saxnäs-area? Really like your vids. Looks really profesional!! New subscriber. Viele Grüße aus Schweden
The char seen in the video were indeed brook trout. They have been introduced in the 19th century. But we also have native arctic char that look very similar!
Really great video! I'll be at this river by the end of the month. Any tips for the tackle to use (rod size, fly line weight, flies)? Thank you in advance and keep streaming! 👌👍
Have Fun! I'd fish a 5wt with a floating line. The weather decides what fly to use. Tiny nymphs or big Stoneflies work always. Have fun. I'll be back in september.
Some people think, that adding music to an already beautifull fishing video, to replace the sound of wind, trees and the current improves their creation....it doesn't !!
Hey guys. What is the average day ticket price (for fly fishing) for a river like that in Germany? Many thanks & fantastic videography as well as story line
@@TroutInTrouble That's brillaint. Here in England you'd pay between £200 to £390 to fish a river that's in the same league as Traun. Many thanks. Keep the videos going.
25 yrs ago o so I meet Roman Mooser here in Sweden he told me that the German part of Traun was overfished since the green movement had stopped Catch and Release fishing. But looking at this video it does not seem to be correct...
Hej Max, det är fortfarande olagligt att genomföra C&R. Men det finns vissa ställen där man får bara ta fisk mellan 30-35 cm. Allt annat måste återutsättas. mvh Marc
I've heard that C&R is illegal in Germany. I bet it's almost impossible to regulate however. Do you know is it one of those laws that is written, but which nobody actually obeys?
Yeah it's illegal except for conservation. You can set rules like a ceratin size. For example it's only allowed to kill fish between 30cm and 38cm. This is what the owner of the water in the video did.
Hello, What a great video, nice pictures, beautiful rivers and trouts... thanks for sharing. Ps: I am looking for fly-fishing mates for trips in europe, feel free to email me if you might be interested !
Nice video, but I thought the law in Germany was that all fish had to be killed as the ridiculous German Government does not accept fishing for sport for "ethical" reasons, so dont allow catch and release?
Absolutely fantastic. Thanks for sharing
The video quality….
The content….
The beauty….
The fishing….
Incredible. A++
Absolutely beautiful my friends, thanks for sharing..
I am from Philippines I watching your videos
Super video, super natur, super music. Danke.

Fly fishing in Germany is definitely on my bucket list

Unfortunetaly they are too crowded these days. You have the Rocky Mountains nearby. Go and just start with it there. It will change your life forever.
Trout In Trouble I have that on my bucket list. I’ll be sure to check out your other vids here soon. Thanks and tight lines.
Guadalupe river north of San Antonio is the southernmost river in the US where you can consistently catch trout all year long.
Awesome video! Live bites, nature, just well done!
Live baits?
@Nemanja Gradinac Bites and baits are different things ;)
I was commending the "takes" / "bites" caught live on camera...
Awesome job, very informative. Any pointers on where to go/start such a trip exactly? Neighboring villages, etc. The scenery is worth the trip already.
I appreciate your careful handling of the trout. well done!
Das Video bringt n richtig gutes Feeling rüber. Weiter so!
That was awesome guys. Really interesting, great filming and editing. Makes me want to go to Germany for some trout fishing.
Very beautiful fishing spot...
Greetings from Jakarta, Indonesia 🇲🇨🤝🙏
Hi. Nice images. Do you maybe recollect which lake it was where you shot the video? Or maybe near to which village?

Sounds amazing! Hope you like it. This was filmed at Rudi Heger waters in Traunstein.
@@TroutInTrouble ah really ?? I just bought some rods for pike fly fishing from him just today 😂. Very close to me actually where he has his waters.
You have American Rainbow trout as well ??

Insightful, stunning rivers! What camera were you shooting on?
This was filmed with a Panasonic GH4 :)
@@TroutInTrouble Thanks nice work.
Hi was that second or third trout, a golden trout,or ?
God Jul
I didn't know you had brook trout in Europe.

Excellent video , is this a day ticket water?
Yes it is. The lake aswell.

very very nice
that was an American Brook Trout !!
what was the name of the river you fished in, in germany

At some occasions i totally agree.
@@TroutInTrouble This is, how music can support images and sound....enjoy! th-cam.com/video/B-S7vwYy8Mg/w-d-xo.html
Kinda sad to see rainbow trout where 4-pound European grayling used to be.
couldn't agree more.
Nice bro

hey,
Depends where you go. At Traun River it costs between 50-70 euros per day. All the best.
@@TroutInTrouble That's brillaint. Here in England you'd pay between £200 to £390 to fish a river that's in the same league as Traun. Many thanks. Keep the videos going.
@@nemanjagradinac5419 Visit northern Sweden or Norway. It costs almost nothing and is million times more rewarding.
Nemanja Gradinac America and England love to rip us off lol
You get rivers like the Traun, which offer similiar flyfishing, but aren't that well known from about 30 Euros a day
Which wt?
5 :)
wow what trout is that at 2:50??
Its a very nice colored brown.

Trout In Trouble someone owns the water? That’s super lame water is a public right.
@@PROCOTRDOCTOR123 Not in Germany. Our rivers are cut into little pieces and sold to private owners or clubs.

👍🏻
There isno catch and release in germany , if the fish is in season and the correct size you must kill it .
That's right. But some spots have a certain size window which is quite hard to match. That is almost like Catch and Release.
Exquisite is an overused word, not here though.
Nice video, but I thought the law in Germany was that all fish had to be killed as the ridiculous German Government does not accept fishing for sport for "ethical" reasons, so dont allow catch and release?
I hope you know that catch and release is illegal in Germany
It is not. You can set a size limit for preservation. For example : Only Fish with a certain size have to be killed.
