It’s a placebo effect. My flying is similar to Steele (in the fast moves not talent) and I haven’t changed a thing when I switch to digital. Those that ride the latency grift are usually the ones that just regurgitate what others say never even having tried digital. Lame excuses really

@@creationlabsinc.189 I actually have tried both and in my opinion, both have their place and their use. There's not a ton more latency in digital, but the latency is inconsistent, whereas analogue is pretty consistent in it's slightly lower latency. That is what makes the biggest difference for me.

analog might not be problem but i never got a analog drone working reliabely but dji FPV worked out of the box and gave me neccessary push to fly fpv again.

If I know my environment well analog is fine, I just enjoy flying my HDZero a lot more. Same latency and should be a lot less even when the HDZero goggles come out - 4ms glass to glass
If you can actually feel the difference between 21ms and 4ms your an android. I simply call it a placebo effect
@@creationlabsinc.189 I’ll be curious to see, I doubt I for one will be able to. However we can’t rule out the blind tests that prove a subset of people(or androids) can. The main point to not miss is if you’re shaving 20ms off video, 20ms off RC link, and more elsewhere within the total loop, it all adds up and matters. If you think about how much ground can be covered by a fast moving quad, it doesn’t take many milliseconds to make a difference in crash or miss. You can simply miss hitting something by milliseconds of total reaction time. Think about a time when you missed hitting something at speed by a hair, then consider if you reacted as little as 20-40ms slower. You may have then crashed only by a hair.

Hey Mr.Steele! Hope you are having a good day. Just was tuning my drone in beta-flight with the battery plugged in, cause i had a problem and the inputs were going insane. Was on RX tab looking at control inputs seeing if it would fix it, so i turned on my TX and the drone went haywire. Turned off TX but still going crazy. It would have kept going if the cable wasnt plugged in. .Blood and skin everywhere. One of the motors was spinning slower than the rest so i really hope i didnt blow up the esc. Lost some screws too.

@@andrewut7ya511 Yep this shit does happens sometimes. Yep im okay at the moment, but im more bummed about the motors. 2 were fried. Luckily the ESC is okay somehow (from what it seems).Thanks dude for asking.
At least i think the esc isnt fried. Fried motors spin but with little resistance. Would that be a motor or esc problem? There is no physical damage to the components as i can see.

I got into the hobby with a Hawk5, and FS Dominator V3's. I have to say, the FPV feed from that setup turned me away quickly. I did upgrade to the Emax Pagoda 2 antennas, but still awful.
If I stayed with analog, what would be your upgrades for a good FPV live feed picture? Crossfire module maybe?

Well if you really don't like analog and you want better image quality : DJI digital, Walksnail/Avatar digital or HDZero will get you that. A higher output power VTX or a better goggle module could help if you want to stick to analog.

TBS is still selling the Mr.Steele Apex Frame Kit. It still comes with the OSD Board. But until they run out of stock ImpulseRC is not making any more. Fettec G4 FC and Kiss Ultra has OSD built in but Fettec F7 or Kiss V2 you need either the Fettec OSD board or the ImpulseRC Apex OSD that comes with the Mr. Steele Apex Frame Kit.
Upgrade your FC to a G4 or an FCFC and no need for the other components if you like “kiss”
