I'm very late to this, but LET'S GO. But one thing I adore about Salad Fingers, is that the creator doesn't even know what is happening in this series. Like David Firth has said before that he's just as unaware of what's happening as the viewer and I love that.

My current theory about the whole SF Story is this. SF started out as a normal guy who served in the war (some war before ww1). He has 2 best friends named Jeremy Fisher and Bartholomew Degrise. In the middle of the war he meets a woman named Marjory who most likely had a career as a singer. They get married and have 3 children: Kenneth, Yvonne and Hubert. He was proud of Kenneth because he was just like him and loved him for that, and he goes to serve in ww1 (we will get back to him later). When Yvonne is born, either she was disabled or a slow learner based on how Salad acts around her in 'Letter.' Salad is also discharged at this time, most likely from injury in the war he was in based on how he is in a wheelchair in that episode. But his injury recovered thankfully. Its evident he abused Yvonne and she eventually leaves Salad. Now its just Salad, Marjoy and Hubert. Its evident as well that Salad cheats on and abuses Marjory. She has enough of Salad's crap and leaves him abandoning Hubert in the process. As we see in 'Cage,' Salad leaves Hubert at a very young age to got to France to meet a lot of women. He moves to France and works as a postman, and meets a woman who is realizes half way into a date that she is half his age. He leaves and goes back home (at this time Hubert is taken into a foster home with an abusive mother and brother, AKA: Glass Brother and Mother). Upon sorting himself out, he invites all his family members for a family reunion. He also invites (or maybe they invited themselves) Jermey Fisher and Bartholomew (Bartholomew has some mental PTSD stuff and Jeremy is dating Yvonne now). Everyone makes it to the reunion except Yvonne and Bartholomew decides to kill Kenneth. Why? Probably because he is a PTSD veteran (kind of like how Flippy acts, if any of you are HTF fans). Bartholomew cooks Kenneth without anyone knowing and a little while later the fatehr finds out about Jeremy and Yvonne. But isntead of talking with Jeremy, he kills him. The father also spends some quality time with Hubert by running a Market, and then we hear a Nuke is going to strike. Salad hides in the safety cupboard to hide. He survives but is changed into a green creature, and most likely his entire family is dead. Now, with everything he just went through at this point, no wonder he gets amnesia and PTSD. And that is my perspective of the story of Salad Fingers.

I only watched salad fingers for the first time a few weeks ago, very happy to be able to watch this analysis now. It's an odd series, extremely unsettling in a different way from other webseries/horror series in general I've seen. Especially this episode, particularly upsetting in a good(?) way. Loved the video!
