- Today we have the video review of the G&G Armament Gas BlowBack Combat Machine M4 Airsoft AEG; this is essentially just a Gas BlowBack Combat Machine (the GBB internals even fit inside the regular AEG). This is a sportline, budget weapon that allows the economic airsofter to finally weild a GBB. Given how expensive my GBB was, this thing's an absolute steal. Hopefully this could herald a dawn of more real cap airsoft games.
You probably figured this out, but the reason the safe position can't be selected when hammer is cocked is because that is how it is on an M16 or AR-15
The gun will not go on safe when the gun is no longer "hot" or when the hammer is not cocked back. This replicates a real m4s safety. Its not a con, its good attention to detail.

I believe Jarek said in his review that you can switch out the GBB gearbox, and then put in a AEG gearbox and it would work just fine. I have not seen a video doing this yet.

@TheBeefhead4161 Somewhat if you have a dremmle you can cut away from the front and try not to hit the barrel or threads, there videos on TH-cam here but the glue they use is hard to get off
Is this a green gas gun or co2? Sorry if it was said in the video or seems like a stupid question but i'm newer. Also is this a good beginner rifle? It will be mainly used in woods and occasionally close quarters. Thanks in advance.

Hey angus, I have purchased this gun and would like to upgrade the sights. I would like to get a red dot sight, but I cannot seem to get the front iron sight off of this gun. I was wondering if the front sight will effect an average red dot sight or if I should get an elevated sight?

Real ARs can't initiate safe unless the firearm is charged too. Nice review, I'm thinking about getting into airsoft for training purposes. Too bad there's no airsoft conversion kit for my AR15!!! lol.
If u live in a cold place (uk) it still works the sam as it wold in a hot place but the fps is lower in cold places

You should be able to use the standard metal M4 body for AEGs.
Do any of the other GBB mags work for this gun? I Cant find mags for it, every place I go to they are out of stock. But the other companies have mags in stock so I'm wondering is it possible to use a WE or Kings Arms gas blow back mag in this gun?
Can i remove the "triangle sight" thats on the end of the barrel? and where are the srews to adjust the "triangle sight"?

The reason you can't move the selector switch when the gun isn't primed is not a problem nor a con. Any GBB M4 platform will do this, reason being is that there is ultimately no point to having the ability to put it on safety if the gun isn't even primed. This actually I believe applies to the real steel, as I recall that while firing an AR-15, I had the same thing happen. This is attributed to a realism and functionality factor, which I in fact like. A cheap yet great M4 by the looks of it.
I sent in the winter its about no lower than 40 in the day time and that really low to but on most 50-60
Can you use Co2 in the mag with a CO2 charger or can the mag not handle it... Please answer!
Where in Washington do you live? I live in WA too.
The weak kick isn't and shouldn't be a con. Its what you get with the closed bolt system or the GHK GBB conversion kit. If you want kick, get a G&P WOC or a WE GBBR.

This uses green gas. It is a good beginner GAS gun; personally I would try an AEG if you are a beginner.

An elevated sight might be nice but the front sight really won't effect a regular red dot.

You should fill the magazine until gas starts to come out. Out of a whole can? A lot.

The-Guy-With-MOJO do you know when they are coming out with the new ones... I'm new to GBB and I want to get one as a b-day gift to myself which is coming up...should I wait or go for the v.2. (This would be my first GBB, not my first airsoft gun. I've been playing airsoft for a few years)
Matteo Milazzo m the new ones are an AEG, And Version 2 ( The one i have) is also an AEG so i really can't help with GBB but KWA sells some really nice GBB guns ;)

The gun will not fire when it is out of BBs, and the chamber remains open. However, you don't have to press the bolt release.
That's basically what it is now, so yes.
yo dude the higher end GBBR's don't go into safe when not charged so it not just this one and i'm sure the real one is the same

I've never had a huge problem but you can always buy a raiser.
I own a Daniel Defense M4v5 5.56 AR-15 that is real, and when the rifle is not loaded/cocked, the safety does not engage, as with every real AR-15/M4 platform firearms, so there is a tad of realism in the safety.

I'd much rather get the JG m4 GBB instead. Around the same price as this gun with shipping price included, the JG would crush this. Open bolt, WA compatible, Great recoil, real Colt trademarks, etc.
Real AR-15s do not allow the weapon to be put on safe if the trigger is pulled.
They are perfectly fine to use at airsoft fields.
I seriously doubt it I believe they work on and "open bolt" system whereas this is a "closed bolt system"
In the summer they can go for a good amount of time.
