The vocals off of Serj at a live show is just testament to his efforts as a musician. Not only brings lyrics that are on par with Bad Religion, if not better, also brings a voice live on stage that is on par with Bad religion, if not better. And I should say that I'm a hardcore Bad Religion fan who thinks Greg Graffin has the best punk voice of all time and BR is my number one of all time.

Commenting on someone's post in reference to Serj's voice from 14 years ago compared to now....To put it simply, to preserve his voice without killing it like say, Chino Moreno did in 2001, he had to make some changes in the way he performed live. I personally prefer serj from 1997-2002 before he went all "opera man", but like it or not, this is the Serj we have now. I have seen some recent shows on here where Serj is kinda going back to his old ways of singing live, but at the same time still being cautious enough to where he won't blow out his vocal cords. Another thing is that he's getting up there in age too. He has also branched off from SOAD and did his solo thing that enabled him to expand his work, that would definitely change an artist. Still though, i much prefer the silly, goofy, random Serj from 1997-2002.
