Why would we take a break on heat culture when they have been the most overachieving team of the past 10 years look at how often we make deep playoff runs. We’ve made the finals twice since 2020
I think you just said why. You overachieved and didn't win a championship. If the goal is to win it all, under heat culture you've excused 2 finals losses and made no major improvements to the team. There's no other franchise/fanbase that are true title contenders that are satisfied with making and losing the finals
It's not so much about ditching the "heat culture" trope, so much as it is that they need to stop betting on the "culture" and some tweaks around the edges to be enough to be real contenders. They need to make real improvements to the roster and be a better team.
