It sounds like they're annoyed that characters should be banned at all, but that's stupid. There's a big difference between annoying shit or cheese and just... fundamentally breaking the rules of Smash lol. Ignoring hitstun is so different from cheese
@@shepardice3775 banning steve is absolutely justified. banning kazuya or any other character you don't like isn't. and steve's broken tech was only recently discovered - for like a year now people have been saying to ban steve just because they couldn't beat him.

@@alive527 if it was as easy and as busted as everyone says it is people would be doing it. It's absolutely noticeable btw, more noticeable than slingshotting which everyone was immediately doing. Either every Steve player is in a secret agreement to not do it (and they are also somehow stopping every Steve hater who claims Steve is easy from just picking up the character and doing it) or it's not that easy/busted and everyone overreacted. Like they did with slingshotting, or phantom footstooling, or hero crits, or aegis as a whole character, or dial cancelling, or K Rool belly armor

@@hunterculpepper1973 You mean people not wanting to repeat past mistakes? Steve is not at the same power level as brawl mk or smash4 bayo, but ultimate as a game is lower powered than both of those. The sad reality is pmlg literally breaks the foundation of the game and is a tech that cannot be monitored and enforced unlike wobbling or infinite dimension cape.
